Do you mind sharing how these auctions work? It's hard to figure out if there is a premium gained on the item. For example, on the BTC block with 6+ BTC the value of BTC is pegged at $253k. The winning bid is $240K and the final auction price is $270K. Is this a win for you or do you suggest peeling and selling the redeemed collectible?

I am sure all the bidding will be last minute.. No point in risking a FIAT price now with 30 days left to go.   I wonder... Does anyone have any experience in buying physical Bitcoin like this in your IRA? That's the only way I would do it.  I currently have mostly GBTC stock in my self directed IRA, but this would be an interesting addition.

All the best to you on this auction. I am curious about this auction site. It states that there are no reserves, but I cannot see too many details. Is the auction bidding above the btc value or is there a risk that these items can sell below the btc value?

The auction is the total price. But remember to add the buyer's premium of 10% to the bid amount. There's definitely a risk that the item can sell below BTC value because it has no reserves. I'm betting that it won't because there are definitely people bidding up to BTC value. You can see the current BTC value of the coin on the auction page.

will be accepting crypto via BitPay.

Truly wonderful blocks.
However, I think that it may worth mentioning to the possible bidders that BitPay will probably be asking for KYC details when handling the payment.

most assuredly and to bid over 10k, I believe you have to meet their kyc (the auction site) while also providing references.

I will be curious to see how much premium these fetch.
