I missed the match but it was expected Naomi Osaka would walk away with the title and i was planning to wage a bet on direct set victory for Naomi Osaka even though the US open match last year was great where Jennifer Brady gave her a fight in the first set and then winning the second one and Osaka finally winning the third set i knew she had her number and more over this is the first grand slam big stage for Jennifer Brady.

Brady had a few moments in the math where she seemed like she could keep up with Osaka but this was her first Grand Slam final and it showed because she really never managed to get in to the game. Osaka is now probably the most marketable female tennis player, she will go on to win many more Grand Slams.
