Alright. I have gotten a satisfactory reply. Just to state that I am neither a blogger nor do I have a affiliation with any blogs. I never meant to "promote a third party site". It was just an innocent mistake. The points have been noted and the thread will be locked now. Thank you all.

I'm writing from a place of hurt. I posted "How to Spot Rouge Casinos" in the gambling discussion board today. I returned to the board no less than 30 minutes after the post to view user replies, but my post was nowhere to be found. It just vanished off the board totally. It was not stated whether it was moved to the Off-Topic or Archival boards.

As others have said, your post has been trashed by the moderators. This forum isn't a place to promote your links for free or use as your personal playground. Keep that in mind.

In addition, I received no email notification of the deletion. This doesn't seem right at all.

The fact that you were not notified does not make the decision to remove your post any less valid. The moderators have the right to remove any content that violates the rules of the forum, and it's up to you to familiarize yourself with those rules.

So, I'm wondering are there bots on the forum that are designed to delete topics based on certain keywords?

Not to my knowledge.

You violated the forum rules by attaching referral links to your copy and paste work to promote a blog. you are lucky you didn't get additional punishment.

There are no Auto delete bots on bitcointalk, but maybe there should be.

Your thread was thrashed by the mods, that's why you got no notification about the deletion. There is usually a message for replies and threads that are deleted permanently, but if it's thrashed, it can be reversed at a later time, and no deletion notification is sent out.

For reference, here is the deleted thread

Mods act on their discretion and reports. Many users here have had a couple of deleted threads and replies, spammers more than others.
Just familiarize yourself with the forum rules more.
