Bitstamp has been totally dead for at least the last 5 hours.  This sucks.

Works fine for me, tested my bot connection and this url

https://www.bitstamp.net/api/transactions/

Everything is working, I get JSON returned to me.

Awake. Was dead more then 12 hours.

Didn't they just release a new API? Maybe its necessary to use that instead.

I don't agree that no one uses Bitstamp because at Cryptotrader.org Bitstamp is #2 popular exchange, so lots of bots are idling today. Disabling api trading for such a long period is very lame, though i hope this is growing pains.

Seems no one use Bitstamp API - it's dead, but no reaction on forum nor from users, nor from support. I need a few words from support - what happened.
It's look like a Gox Syndrome , first step -verification, next - API problems including DDOSes and other shit ..
