Yup, this is correct.

You need to learn how to use bitcoind.
Well, he doesn't have to, because he could use the Blockchain.info API, but it would be a lot better, since he wouldn't need to depend on a third party service.

You could setup a cronjob to run a script every hour that gathers which addresses qualify for a payment and use the Blockchain API to send the actual payments. It's a lot like a faucet.

Hi wakhid, no it isnt. Actually I got the inspiration to know about this from a ponzi scheme running here

The scheme paid out 1% every fixed hour to the investors, and I had another idea which might require this, so I was wondering how I can achieve the same.

Hi, I was building an application, and need to payout automatically every hour or so. Can anyone recommend any services/sites I can use for the same?
basically, the wallet pays out to a few addresses automatically, after each hour.
