Make sure both PSU fans are spinning freely.  If the metal gets bent a little and stops one of the PSU fans from spinning freely you will get a 4% fan speed reading and no mining.  I have a couple hundred of these miners.  I have changed out many PSU fans.

Few days since update on this....  The buyer has purchased a power supply and is waiting on delivery.  We reached an agreement and adjusted the selling price accordingly.

"Power switch on. Nothing. No fans, no lights, nothing. "

Latest message from him.  Anyone know where to get a power supply?

If you know the exact model of the PSU you can try to search it on ZeusBTC use the link below and type the PSU model or just PSU.

I tried to search on Amazon and aliexpress I saw only a few of them but no trust ratings yet. So I think this would be hard if you are looking for a PSU for this unit.
Try to ask him for a PSU unit model and try to search on Google if you can find a site that sells it post it here and we will check if you can trust that site or not. Beware there are lots of phishing sites or scam sites that sell any mining-related products.

The only thing that I notice are abnormal signals no hashboard and no fan on the logs on that image in your first post.

And Yeah it could be a PSU issue but would you try to tell him to reset the miner to factory default.

I got a guide from their documentation about this miner below

Quote from: canaan.io
When powering up (before the indicator light flashes ), press and hold the FUNC
key for five to ten seconds. The system will automatically clear the saved
configuration, including: network, mine pool, password and other information. After
the configuration is cleared, the indicator blinks white frequently, indicating that the
configuration is successful. After releasing the FUNC button, press the RESET button
to restart, or disconnect the power supply to re-power, the system will work with the
default factory configuration.

Then tell him to test it again.

If it does not solve the issue try to tell him to flash it again with the latest firmware and reconnect all fans hope this one will work.

I'm not sure why the pic is blurry...

He didn't have all three pools occupied and I've had issues with that.  After he put in server listings in all three pools it changed to the following....

His last message -

same result.... you seeing anything on your pool?  That pic you just sent is from when I turned it on this afternoon.  it worked... but then just quit like 10 minutes later.  Craziest thing.  I didnt overheat, it's in my basement and it's 60 degrees down there.  It got 220v power, just like my other miners.
The log is crazy though..
pvt_t0 = -40
pvt_vo = 0

is that -40 voltage or 0 voltage or what?  does it list errors like other miners somewhere we can see?

Afterwards he took it apart to make sure nothing came loose during shipping, I honestly did pack it very well.  His email -

Good news, bad news....

I took it all apart.  These things are solid!  No loose connections anywhere.  Put it all back together turned it on and nothing.  There is a click and nothing happens.  It's the psu Im sure.  That's the good news.  It's definitely the psu.  Bad news... I can't find a new one anywhere.  Ill post on the forum and see what people have lying around.  Thanks for all your help.

I sold an Avalon 1047 on ebay to a guy.  Sent him a video beforehand showing it running and hashing correctly.  Now for him after changing to his pool info everything shows "green" but it is not hashing.  He's sent a screen shot which is hopfully attached correctly.

His email -
***************************

I've tried
slushpool
AntpoolI
Nicehash
Prohashing
Poolin

All a no go.  It ran with your settings for 5 minutes.  I switched to my pools it ran for 5 or 10 just fine.  I sent the eBay message and then maybe 5 minutes later it just dropped out. I can access the gui, but that's it.  Light is green, Ethernet port lights flash fans run full tilt, but it doesn't do anything.  Those dials On the gui are all green but showing 0s.  I have tried everything and it just won't work.  It's not drawing much juice either.  Maybe the controller wnet bad?  Those numbers in the log are whacky...

Anything I can try?

I let him know this was being sold as is and apparently it was working at first when he got it.  I'm pretty new to ASICs so can anyone point me in a direction?  I'm trying to be a good seller.
