Replacing the hashboard that isn't found will be the quickest solution as Bitmaxz said. Or you can send the command to run the miner with only two boards. If you're looking for a reliable tester we recommend a STASIC MultiTester or the Universal Avalon Tester. New firmware will be continuously updated in the future to meet newer models.

Why would you buy a test fixture than buy one hash board?
It's not worth it unless you have multiple units or planning to use it for future repairs.

thanks for the reply, the 3rd hash board was the culprit. my only choice is to buy a testfixture.

If you only have one unit then replacing the hashboard is the best choice.

Code:
 ECHU[1 1 1] ECMM[1]

When ECMM[0], it means that the MM board is in normal state. When ECMM[1], it means that the MM board may have problems, or it may have poor contact with the hash board.

using a working control board and cables still show the same error, and that said control board works on another miner, but thanks for the info.

So the 3rd hash board is bad if you don't have any tools like testfixture to find the damaged chip then you should replace it with a known working one.

You need to check the MM board first. Also, as BitMaxz said, check your third hash board. If you want to find faulty chips quickly and accurately, you'd better have an Avalon hash board tester. If you don't have the enough budget, you can buy a tester without a screen.

According to your miner's API logs one of the miner's hash board is bad have you replaced the 3rd one?

Here are the logs that I talking about
Code:
HASHS[0 0 1]

So the 3rd hash board is bad if you don't have any tools like testfixture to find the damaged chip then you should replace it with a known working one.

There is no guide here for dashboard repair for this unit but maybe you can get some idea from this link below.

hello, I have a 1166 pro that shows 119 asic and wont do anything and sets idle, tested with working psu and control board units, cables, etc. so the fault as not from them. I had replaced the 120th asic with another one from the board but it still shows 119.
my main question is to how to exactly know what asic is the faulty one since I dont have any test fixtures for avalon and only can use control boards and it gets hot may to fast to test the signals via using dc power supplies.
