It is automatically switching to normal mode. I'm in the U.S. so it's 73* in Freedom Units. It's well ventilated in a cool room. We just rented space and it's the only thing in there mining. I'll have to post the miner logs in a bit. Thanks!

@OP
You can double-check your settings by looking at my Avalon 1041 guide for reference.

Also, Canaan's Avalon 1246 guide is here: https://canaan.io/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Avalon1246_UserManual_V1.0-EN.pdf

Better give us more insight about your issue if you can copy the miner logs and paste it here maybe we can see the issue.

What I think is that your miner is automatically switched to normal mode. This unit has two working modes (Performance mode and Normal mode.) if you want to run at full speed then you need to force choose the Performance mode under configuration.

I guess 73 you talking about is Fahrenheit not the Celcius?
So if it's 73 Fahrenheit it should be around 22 or 23 Celcius?

Celsius? SOS that's hot.

at 73c the miner will be hot chocolate or bitchocholate for that matter.

OP, did you allow enough time for the miner to tune? I don't know much about the exact model you have but I know some miners needs sometime to tune when you first start them, what was the exact voltage when you checked it?

It was doing fine at my partner's house. We moved it to our new mine location and it throttles down to an average of 65 TH. We checked the line voltage and it was fine. The wired network connection was checked and is good. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!!
