So, in a nut shell, it's not worth mining in Sydney According to this: http://www.bitcoinx.com/profit/ ?

I pay 24.25c / kWh (Not considering cost of supply)
Unit cost $2499.00
Hash Rate 50Giga

If the energy usage of the 50gig ASIC is 230W, say 300W... over 3 months it's telling me I've made -$4599.26

I just want to mine Sad

Can someone confirm the stats for me?

Thanks,

The 5 GH model of the BFL asic is 30 watts. I'd assume it scales similarly (25 GH would be 150 watts, 50 GH would be 300 watts).
The avalon ~60 GH models are rated at 620 watts according to https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison#ASIC

Hi,

Maybe I haven't looked hard enough, and I still don't think BFL are giving exact statistics for their machines yet. But, does anyone have their machines and/or can anyone shed some light on the Kilowatts used by these machines? Mostly interested in specs for the 25 and 50 GH/s machines from BFL.

Cheers,
