Why no one is talking about Pyramining?

Their ASICs will be ready in a month. Mining with Pyramining has no additional costs like power or connectivity.

There is another factor (which is a killer feature): every one involved will benefit automatically from hw upgrades. For example, one account of mine, opened with 50$ ~6 months ago will be 18GHs with ASICs!

If I had bought hardware instead of investing in Pyramining, I'd stay with only 0.1 GHs instead of 18GHs!
Is that Bitfury project?

Not at all. They are developing their own asics.

No, it's not. I know someone that knows them personally and invested into their asics, a month ago he was regretting it. Don't know if he changed idea.

Glad I invested in ASICMiner early on, Avalon was always my 2nd choice.
Since I have to admit, being a miner, I'd love to have one sitting next to my FPGA's.
Still struggling with the price though. I know it's worth it, since returns will be good, but such a sharp price increase is not nice move.

now let s compare with bfl

still the avalon is better?

You order BFL you are #20,001 in line, for a product that is yet to exist.  You order with Avalon and you are #901 for a product that has already shipped 300...

When are they going to be ready? I dont want to miss the boat!
anybody able to log in to their account?

I dont have an account that I know of but I am on the news letter list. I just tried to register and it did not work.
I used to be able to log in with the PW created when I ordered (I believe that was the Wordpress system),

still no access

you are thinking that 2 months is alot of time? if Avalon didn't crush, it is very little Smiley

On the contrary, I've been mining since 2011, so I'm accustomed to approx 6 month turn-around... 2 months is nothing, though I would like to see my batch 2 order land safely in my lap before I outlay nearly $7000 (for 4 module miner)

... like I said, I'm tempted, but probably not going to order this time around, as I no longer have hundreds of bitcoin lying around waiting for something to spend it on. (though I would gladly by an extra module when they come available)

grrr, it looked like is was working for a second, but when I logged in, it went back to the password spinny diamond thingy...

what was it, 113 btc for 4 modules?

even if the network is starting at 15 mil, a 4 mod box should about 3 btc per day. let's say difficulty goes up 5 million each time, due to rapidly increasing network hashrate, and adjusts every 10 days (also due to rapidly increasing hashrate) - very conservative estimates

30 btc first 10 days
22 btc next 10 days
17 btc next 10
15 ...
12
10
9 ... etc...

looking at ~ 2 months + to recover the btc (admittedly these are very rough numbers and only slightly better than a guess, but that's the nature of the beast)

if btc can drop down to around 60, I'm somewhat tempted...

Gotta say the math is seriously broken on their waiver page.   Even if they controlled 100% of the hash power their entire deployment of the three batches would ensure less than 3 btc/day per unit.  Not sure using the difficulty is the right model for profitability...market share would be more accurate.
