You don't use a bitpay account to pay a merchant.
bitpay is only got merchants - the will serve as intermediary - as long as you have BTC somewhere, it should work. go to bitpay and see for yourself.

I was wondering if someone had used bitpay before?
I am particularly interested if we have to sign up for bitpay and transfer our btc there upfront?
I do personally like batch 2 style ordering - Order our units from avalon store and to be able to pay as guests from our wallets.
