450 might not be the end... given some posts in Burnin's Board thread.

Time to dunk your chips in oil and hang on to your Avalon chips a few months longer?

After reviewing The Genesis Block article (http://thegenesisblock.com/latest-shipment-of-avalon-asics-could-increase-network-hashrate-by-500/) I have been able to work out total number of chips likely to have been ordered.

I Used the photographs released by Fujian Yan Tan, a retailer of Avalon ASIC boards. Plus a photo of an Avalon tray. Along with the shipping tracking details (http://www.track-shipments.com/track-trace.aspx?pref=AWB&awbno=87150508076).

135 boxes in 24 outer shipping boxes with 11 trays per box.
Each tray 10 x 26 chips = 386,100

Shipment weight is 853kg making outer 24 boxes 35.5kg, inner boxes 4kg & tray approx 0.5kg.

Hashing power:

Chips support 282MH/s to say 450MH/s giving range of 108,880GH/s to 173,745GH/s total

Donations (1MdvZGoGBMVZShaoZhgdYBfYrpPicJ8RaW) appreciated as it took a lot of detective work & analysis to end up with this seemingly simple number.

This information takes away the speculation the Bitcoin Network Hashrate could rise by 500% previously discussed in some news articles & postings.
