WTF? "Goldman-Sachs controlled Europe"? I thinks someones been reading a bit too much Alex Jones.

Because they installed banking technocrats undemocratically in Greece and Italy replacing their elected leaders.

And what will happen when China raise the big firewall and block any bitcoin activity ?

Or when Goldman-Sachs-controlled Europe & US do the same? Once Bitcoin became a serious threat to them?

Thanks, that's an entertaining read.  For me, the whole alternative media narrative is a fraud.

The evil Banksters, civil war, economic collapse, racism, Alex Jones, the Tea party, Occupy, the gun
grab - these aren't maveric grass-roots ideas, they are a dark-establishment narrative imposed
 from the top down.

You always get these arrogant free-thinker types that bleat on these ideas like they've discovered
something new.

The easiest way for the plutocrats to kill Bitcoin will be to do a 51% attack.

That will destroy the entire system in one blow.  Much easier than sniping miners and users here and there in an unending war.

When you've got unlimited fiat, obtaining that kind of hash power isn't too hard.

However it does pose the question fo the easiest way for the State to squish bitcoin. I would guess
just branding it a "terrorist activity". Would anyone risk a spell in Guantanamo?

Tor?

Tor is for the casual user. If we are talking about mining farms, they can easily get out through any pipe really. SSH, VPN, whatever. The oppressor would have to block all encrypted data, but then again there is always the stego route. It would be much easier for them to find the farm physically.

Why would any agency waste that much effort for this kind of endeavor, I don't know. It's more likely that they would attack relay nodes.

Thanks for the BitSyncom. I remember them from a story from a conference mentioned here last year. Nice to see them building stuff.

Whats in it to the Chinese:

"You pay a fee like any other pool maybe 3-5% of profits (after deduction of electricity costs)"

So they get capital to production expansion as people pay up front. So until you have ROI you are essentially giving them a cheap loan.

They could also sell ASICs on down payment only and maybe 50% from revenue to payback the rest of cost.
That will lower the entry point and widen their market. They could even sell 10GH/s shares for $200. To let everyone get in. You manage your own miner or 10GH/s share from home, so no support cost to them.

The last to options really dont give much return compared to just mining on their on hardware, but there is an incentive to buy more shares for your coins so they'll be able to sell even more complete rigs in such a model.

You guys do realize that this parallels Dave (@ bASIC) idea, right?

It is just collocation services for miners.

In Cryptocoins I Trust

I just think it's wierd that the Chinese will do all the work and then send you the money (Bitcoin). Kind of unrealistic.

Um... it's not just the Chinese, this is all of humanity (or most).

It would be nice, now we know they can be trusted, to have a "not to ship" option where you pay chinese eectricity rates and a small fee to have it mine away for you in China. they would have free heating and warranty replacements would take ten minutes.

Later you can have the miner shipped to your home as "used" without customs.

That's a great idea, those nice Chinese will just send you Bitcoins while you just sit on your ass at home.

Doesn't that seem a bit strange to you?

I prefer to lay on the couch with my laptop. It was my suggestion, not their's. Hosted mining has been suggested before with GPU's.

I don't think it's thats strange a suggestion, especially when electricity costs are low compared to hashrate ATM. You have it hosted so renting of capacity is also possible gpumax style. resale / buyback is also easy.

Compared to the hassle with customs, especially for european customers, and shipping costs of 10%, it's attractive.

The producer could save on cases and PSU's and they would have added protection against reverse enginering if their next model is not released to the public.

Sure the concept could be used for a scam, with simulated miners, but it's a risk comparable to preordering. With their first shipment they proved that they pocess the tech, wich is more than others have.
