Looks like utter scamming bollocks as usual. There's no way mining could pay in Costa Rica. And I love the explanation for not supplying any info or photos of the gear itself. That really reassured me.

Lol you are so right xP I looked at the rates for eletricity in costa rica are and the current block difficulty and with those amount of hashes you wont be making much of anything even if it were legit. Any company that can't provide pictures or video should never ever be trusted.

Hey guys, new to the forum but have been a lurker for a while, like my nick suggests im based in Costa Rica, i stumbled with  this avalon life company, im researching alot more into them and with the all information on their website and on different forums it just seems like a total ponzi scheme, like the above quotes i highly doubt they have farms here in costa rica, electricity is way too expensive to afford a mining facility, real state is also high and yes Costa Rica as a country does run geothermal energy, but  it is part of the countries  expensive electric network therefore tying themselves to this is total BS and SOLAR... im sorry but we do not have solar farms....  yes there are private companies and people that implement solar energy  but this farms would have to run off a big site with alot of kw solar capacity and that is expensive. this is one of the most expensive countries in the world, including labor therefore mining here on a big scale isnt posible BEWARE .

as for the poster above i can only deduct that its either a masked avalon life agent skimming down bad rep , or a fellow citizen that has his brains washed by this ponzi, this country is very peculiar with ponzies such as ZRII and Herbalife ORGANOGOLD and other ponzies that have thrived amongst the weak.
this post also shares some light as to my opinions.

To give you all a heads up. I have meet personally some of the crew of Avalon Life. They are staring to do meetings to explain us what their ideas are and how it will be a great option to invest.
Let me tell you it´s not a scam.
I am from Costa Rica and the project has had already a huge impact in Asia and Europe. Central and South America will be the next place where they will teaching the people what Avalon´s mission is.
Here in Costa Rica they have a few Mining farms, one being a really big one. They are not only investing a significant amount in mining equipment, they also have a lot of other ideas that will benefit the world.
Trust me in this one, it will be something really important and known in all the virtualcurrency universe.

They said something interesting - they apparently allow users to visit their office/mining facility in Costa Rica.
So fast question, do we have any users from Costa Rica here? Someone who can walk to their office and confirm that they telling the truth?

At this point their story seems to be standard pile of promises backed by nothing solid.

Here´s the pool Avalon Life is able to show u.

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dash/#!extraction

I hope that helps u to verify Avalon Life.

The last weeks clients mined DASH. License partners mined 32 different coins based on X11, X13 and Quark.
There also will be a list with the mined coins, hashrate etc. If it´s there, i´ll post it here.

How they can look into the service, when the service will be available this week for first time ?

I don't really know, nor care, when they opened doors... Fact is the domain was registered in march 2016, so they have been around for a while: http://whois.domaintools.com/avalon-life.com

AL does not have 2 Mining Farms in Costa Rica only 1 and 1 in Switzerland (so better do a research next time before telling others the untruth)

A quote, directly from the FAQ: https://web.archive.org/web/20160824120613/http://partner.avalon-life.com/en/faq/

Better, think twice before telling untruth or bad experience in the past with other companies.

You can't compare AL because there is no competioner to compare. Not even a single one  Undecided

I have never actually said this service is a scam, just that i trust the 3 DT members that already tagged the owner.

Is it safe to assume you're either an affiliate or an alt-account of the owner?

How can you tell?
I can't, but i usually trust the feedback given by DT members. There were 3 DT members that looked into the service and decided to give negative feedback. No positive feedback was given by any trusted member. This is sufficient for me to avoid this service.

Are you in already?
No, i'm not, i'm not getting burnt investing in a ponzi sheme Smiley

The have real custom built hardware, no cloudmining operation.
Their FAQ was TL;DR
That being said, i did skip over it, and it offered no proof of this statement. Sure, they tell you: "Avalon Life has 2 mining equipment in Costa Rica", but without proof, this claim is completely worthless.
I seriously doubt they have any ASIC's at all, if they had, they would be showing them off to lure in investors.

Just my personal opinion tough.

It seems a scam, don't involve it, most mining business are scams in the end, butterfly, friedcat scam and so forth.

got this sent to me by a good friend, now we're both wondering if it is legit? They say they will offer lifetime mining.
http://partner.avalon-life.com/en/

I think it would be best if you moved this discussion to an other subforum, maybe service discussion. This subforum is actually meanth to make a real scam accusation (AFAIK).

This being said, that website does raise some red flags for me...

If you use the forum search function, you'll find these discussions:
https://cse.google.com/cse?cx=016660200577587308545%3Aesf40ml9aag&ie=UTF-8&q=avalon-life&sa=Google+search#gsc.tab=0&gsc.q=avalon-life&gsc.page=1

It seems the announcement posts: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/avalon-life-1549563 the owner seems to be https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=878046 and 3 DT members already concluded that his website is fishy to say the least
