I don't see why. The machines have a good chance of paying off and becoming profitable, even at that price and with the current difficulty increase rate. It's really a gamble on the increasing value of bitcoin as much as anything else. I chose not to take the gamble, which is why I sold the machines. If you buy from Avalon direct, you still have to pay for postage and wait however long for them to arrive.

Sharknutzz its great to see you that also poking your head into another discussion that you have no interest in buying the equipment.     Your so helpful - keeping selling your USB Erupter's from your parent's basement.

You find a 15BTC sucker...er...buyer.... for your Mercury yet abfiend?

Nice to see that you're a stalking newbie.  If I buy that Mercury from you, would you consider using the BTC to purchase yourself therapy for being a sociopath?  Or maybe buy yourself some friends to talk to so you don't have to stalk users in the bitcointalk forum?

Enjoy your Mercury paperweight.  ROFL..... sucker....

Sorry OP, this guy feels the need to follow me around and pollute other peoples' threads.  And he has a great deal on a Mercury if anyone is interested.  ROFL.....

80 gh/s now produces 0.1 btc per day, at the current difficulty.  Next difficulty change, even less.

My offer wouldn't be anywhere near $1000, so I'll keep it to myself and not look like a jerk.  :]

I wish you the best of luck on the sale though, friend.

Right. Thanks.

If you're in the area, and you make me a reasonable offer then I will consider.

Just as a kind gesture, I wanted to point out that people in this forum generally know what mining hardware produces and what it is worth, they're not very gullible.

If you're looking for the gullible crowd, try e-bay.
