With the chip sales coming on-line in the next couple of months, there will be plenty of reputable players who will be manufacturing Avalon clones.

I am sure spare/additional/replacement blades, controllers and what not will be readily available in the 4th quarter of the year (3 to 6 months from now).

Hiya,

buying a "used" avalon batch #1.
please do not belittle me, but I remember reading somewhere that you could send in "broken" modules for replacement. however, their website is pretty slim on that subject.

Would anyone care to share their knowledge of the existence of such service with me, please?

Genuinely, there also appear to be issues in actually gaining contact and continuing communications with them.

That and the fact they have (Bitcoin 2013) openly admitted they prefer development over manufacture and they have their work cut-out for themselves, for the foreseeable future.

Quick turn arounds on repair of products they have issues delivering may not occur as you'd wish...
