It was some miscommunication inside Avalon (shipping crew). Every 10k order will get 30 sample chips.

They have responsibility to do everything they can to fix their assembly production problems as quickly as possible, but presuming the problems they are having there aren't related to chip production I don't think they will hold off shipping chips until batch 2/3 (and some 1) is 100% fulfilled.

Yes, I got a call this morning at 10:30 from SF-express and then I asked someone to accept the package for me. But I didn't realize it as Avalon chips. I really want some companies to deliver on a promise now and then. I understand this isn't the most simple thing in the world, and that people are often working with minimal capitol. Wouldn't you learn to give better buffer times for your projects? or not announce until you have the product? Hard to understand how these things happen so often.
