just an FYI the EC at the bottom right of the miner status tells you what is wrong

error 513 = error 512 (fan error) + error 1 (idle)

Meaning the fan plug was probably loose, once you reconnect a fan after this error always power cycle the miner to get it hashing again

I went back out to the server room to look at the lights and there was a red flashing light on the Avalon.
I turned it off/on and now it's working.  Huh

I guess it just needed hard booted?

thanks for your help

over top of that is some tabs, go to the network tab  then go to edit and post that screen . IF you SSH into the PI you may not or can not change much in a Openwrt type command line unless you know how to use openwrt  in SSH it is way different then your normal Linux command line with very few apps installed so it is faster and very light weight.

if it pings ok then try another pool ? . if it hashes bitmain may be having issue for you . im mining on antpool atm with my Avalon 6 .

does the fan spin down at all, I noticed it is spinning  at 7900 RPMS , i get two load spin up after i turn on my A6 then it settle down and  gets very quite,  i also replaced the fan for less noise  but the stock fan really isn't that bad .

I don't know how to post an image here but here is a link to a screenshot:

http://shawnanderson.net/stuff/minerpage.jpg

It's connected to the switch using a CAT5 cable (not wireless).
I can SSH into the Pi and ping Google DNS 8.8.8.8.

The fan is spinning.

sense you moved it make sure the USB stuff is plugged in tight .

what does the very bottom line show in the GUI of the miner show, not the pretty red color part go to advanced setting .

Quote
Avalon Devices Status
Indicator   Elapsed   Device   MM   DNA   LocalWorks   SmartSpeed   GHS   Temperature(C)   Fan(RPM)   InputVoltage(V)   PG   EC

are any lights on the  USB converter flashing any colors ? .

pool settings right ?

try another pool ? .
the fan does turn at start up ?

it should hash all most right a way if everything is set up right sense it seems to be working right .

Yesterday I received and set up my Avalon6 for the first time. Everything was running beautifully and in 1 day I made over $2 worth of bitcoin.
Anyway, it was too loud for where I had set it up, so I moved it out to my server room.
All I changed was re-configuring the local IP address of the Pi because the network subnet was different.
Everything turned on and is running OK, but it doesn't appear to be working.
The hash rate is zero. The Cgminer Status shows all 3 of my pools are alive, but I have zero "accepted".
It's been running for about 45 minutes. It seems like when I set it up yesterday it was hashing pretty soon after I got it set up.

Is something wrong or am I just being impatient?
