I think many of you heard about the guy that killed people in the church few weeks ago and everyone criticized the 'confederate' flag because he appeared with it in his photos...well many citizens didn't want the flag to be removed so they protest with it so should we consider them terrorists? Killers?!

My point of view is: when people 'w/out brain'  commit a massive kill/rape you had to blame them.
This flag isn't created by ISIS but actually they ruined it as they ruined the palmyra's ruins, as they ruined the life of so many people.

Finally if this member broke the rules (insulting, threatening... ) he should be banned ofc.

Damn... and that thing that talks about sub- humans and slaughtery lives in my city ?! yuk.... it's full of this kind of sudjects here, it's disgusting
it's that kind that trew a party here on 9/11, i saw it myself
only one you say is doing this, well, that's how it starts, when he gets away with what he's doing now he will go further and will push buttons here and there, provocing rasist replies and such.
Then a second one of his kind will appear... a thurd one.... a fourth and so on
 you'll see, this will happen.
i know, i deal enough with those kind of "people" on a daily basis.
and this daesh thing, i heard it be used a long time before even isis later on is was formed.

that avatar, that name.... his posts.. i red there are some members here banned for less?

this member should be banned on the spot before i gets worse.

En Anglais on ne dit pas DAESH (ne veut rien dire) mais IS (Islamic State)

Change le titre pour "Avatar of Islamic State on the forum"

Pretty sure it's not illegal to have an Islamic State avatar. Annoying & disrespectful yes but I don't think anybody can force him/her to take it down. Unfortunately religion & hatred is rife at the moment. I'm not going to go too deep into it as I'd like to stay as a respected forum member & not give my thoughts & feelings in depth Wink

Just ignore the guy. Some people in tgis forum seeks attention and they do it by trolling or putting up an attitude against other people. His action won't reflect to everyone in this forum so don't take it as such a big deal. Just ignore.

Insults was not addressed to me, and anyway it would not have any importance. I have posted this message in interest of the forum and of Bitcoin.

Another message of this user:

Quote
Tu as de la chance, Gourou, une nouvelle loi en Belgique nous interdit d'abattre les bêtes sans étourdissement.

Google translate:

Quote
You're lucky, Gourou, a new law in Belgium forbids us to kill animals without stunning.

1) To discredit the bitcoin: it will be easy to malicious journalists to make the association between Bitcoin and terrorism.

2) From jeopardize your site as a whole, at least in some countries where advocating terrorism is a crime.

So I ask you, with all the respect I owe you, to change the forum charte to this type of provocation does not happen again.
first of all, its just 1 person doing that, and it says nothing about the rest of the people on the forum. it makes no sense to draw a conclusion that says everyone related to bitcoin are terrorists because one person acts rude on a forum related to bitcoin and insults people, which is why im guessing this thread was made: because you felt insulted by this person. press "ignore" under their name and move on.

That's called Sophism...

Hello, and sorry for my bad english

I open this topic following a discussion in the French part of the site : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/avatar-de-abou-talha-1166933

An user has chosen the flag of the Islamic State as avatar and the name of a terrorist as pseudo. He says things like this:

Quote
ton cas est sans espoir; prends une corde et pends-toi.

which means:

Quote
your case is hopeless; take a rope and hang yourself.

Apart from disturbing account of this, I find that this fact is risking:

1) To discredit the bitcoin: it will be easy to malicious journalists to make the association between Bitcoin and terrorism.

2) From jeopardize your site as a whole, at least in some countries where advocating terrorism is a crime.

So I ask you, with all the respect I owe you, to change the forum charte to this type of provocation does not happen again.
