I can imagine how terribly bad you must have been to be kicked out of math class for not at least knowing average calculation which is more of a simple arithmetic. what i should have said/meant was that i could get out the paper, pen and calculator and manually do it but i want it so its automated somehow, imo the exchanges should have an "average price" button like the bookmakers websites etc

Yep, simple math.

And one easier formula:

(All spent amount) / total coin = average price.

For example you've bought coins for 1.342, 0.534 and 2.11 BTC and then you have 5322 coins total = 0.00074896655 per coin

Hi folks, say for example you have been buying a coin in stages over a period of 3 months or so, all different prices and all different amounts, whats the easiest way to work out the average buy price for all them transactions

Im sure theres an easy way, its a pity the exchanges dont tell you (bittrex and cryptopia) the betting exchanges do it as normal dont know why the crypto exchanges do
