I've been using AVG for many years now and didn't experienced any kind of problem with it. One of the best for me.

I have NOD32 i think it's ok. I am using it like 5y now and only once it did not protect my pc. Letting the virus install but 2 days after that he deleted it.
AVG is a good anti-Virus suite. But the AVG Technologies is based in EU and I don't trust them. I have put my faith behind Kasper and it has protected me for the last decade or so.
