1) Why did you accept his bets in first place?

2)You said he broke TOS, why didn't you asked him to provide his ID's before he made his first bet?

3)As long as players are losing, you don't care about TOS, right?

I'm not sure if I get the point here. So just because we don't pay out a guy breaking the rules, we
shouldn't pay out a guy that wins a lot of play by the rules? The amount is irrelevant actually,
as long as the player is following the rules of the casino, it doesn't matter how much the player win.

Yep same here. Years of positive experience at BitStarz, including a very large win with no trouble cashing it out, and lots of other smaller wins as well.

Every time I see someone shit talking them it turns out to be someone trying to scam or not following the rules (which are the same rules most other casinos use too), and then 100 people who have never even played at the casino trying to pile on and call scam because they are morons themselves.

If you are asked to give your personal details prior to a deposit and think it would not matter, then you have an error with your thinking.

If they would have asked you after won, then this would be something else. But if they ask you prior to be able to make a deposit, then this is clearly your fault.

You intentionally filled in random details and there is no chance you could win this case at a court!

NetEnt require all players to fill in their profile with correct problem to ensure they
only provide turnover from countries where they can operate according to their license
obligations. It's not a requirement that we came up with, but something all operators
has to abide by.

You're right here again. Almost every casino has the right to require a KYC if they feel
they have a reason to do so. In this particular case we believed we had to confirm the
player's identity due to multiple accounts in a single name being used via the same browser.

I'm very happy to see that we're able to have a constructive debate with arguments on both
sides here.

Very well said. You are 100% spot on every point you make. And you are not like the other 90% here posting babble just to spam their sig. If players follow the rules then a lot of these issues would be avoided. As I suspect and I'm sure you do as well this player was playing NetEnts from a restricted location thereby requiring the casino to confirm their information to not be breaking their terms that they likely have with NetEnt. He openly admitted to filling in the required information with nonsense and then expected to be paid if he won? 

As an online player for 15+ years I don't expect many casinos to cut a break and not require some form of identity when making a cashout. Sure it's nice when a casino doesn't require anything but I'm well prepared to provide documentation if one does. It's the standard at 90+% of online casinos.

What I don't understand about this thread and countless others on this site about casinos.  Is the moment they follow there own rules clearly set out if you had bothered to read them before depositing.  The moment player breaks a rule, which clearly apparently aren't read by Bit Coin gamblers, because they feel there a privileged class that doesn't need to follow the rules.  Everyone cry scammer, rogue, people who aren't going to pay ever.

I can confidently say because I can be bothered to read the rules, I have cashed out several, not just a few several BTC from this casino.  Biggest win was 8 BTC, and not once they flinch on paying out my total sum won.  Why?  Because I actually have read and followed the rules.

If you play games by Net Ent and Quickfire, then the casino has a do a bit more work and make sure your not some US player or a player from a country that Net End and Quickfire doesn't want playing there software.  Which is done by performing a Know Your Customer check.  Any reputable casino would do such a check, as it is industry standard to prevent fraud, multiple account usage, and also to insure no under age gambling has occurred.

So once again, I can't understand why people deposit money into a casino then play, to only find out if they had read the rules that things might worked out different for them.

Plus remember folks you can tick that box to not receive bonuses then 90% of these silly accusations can be avoided.  Then for the other 10% then avoid Net Ent and Microgaming and you'll do just fine with these casinos.

For everything, there's a logical explanation.

So first of all, you admit entering the wrong details on your account, which is not a great idea.
Besides that, you've got multiple accounts in your own name that has been used via the same
browser as you. So unless you have the same first name as someone else playing via your computer,
that doesn't help your case either.

If we have multiple people in the same name playing via the same web browser as you, one would
imagine we'd suspect that being the same person, right? It's probably no news to anyone here
that only one account is allowed per IP/Household/Family/Person, etc.
If you have multiple people in your household with the same name, you could easily have solved
it by sending in documentation to verify your identity, I believe that's quite reasonable.

Yeah, bitstarz is pretty well known as a border-line scam. It's a pretty common practice of theirs to do everything in their power to avoid paying out winners while trying to look legitimate. Asking for proof of id and address seems lately to be their favorite way to do this, because they know a large amount of players would rather preserve their anonymity than winnings (I mean, I'd rather lose my money than give a bunch of shady people my full dox). They also then have the added benefit of being able to void peoples winnings based on where they live, and messed other excuses like that.

Pretty much the only reason people play there, is they seem to have a big advertising budget and pay affiliates well to sucker people in

I have also read some accusations against them on this section and that is really too bad.

Bitstarz is not famous here, they usually promote their advertisement in other bitcoin website, but seldom bump their OP, because they have bad reputation.

Bitstarz cheat players out of their deposit and void their winnings.

I am posting it in as many threads about bitstarz as I can find until bitstarz make this right and send me my winnings in full. I want to avoid other gamblers from dealing with such a blatant scam site.

My ordeal is as such.

No bonuses accepted or activated.

I deposit 0.2 btc, play slots and lose it.
I deposit 0.1 btc, play slots and lose it.
I decide one last time, deposit just under 0.1 BTC for some netent slots so into the eur account and receive 100.5eur. When I made this deposit it took me to fill in details which it did not do for btc deposit before so I just filled in random details thinking it would not matter.

I proceed to play when piggs fly netent slot, I finally get to run good and end up just over 1000euro.

So I proceed to try withdraw, I am asked to provide my ID and utility bill (wtf, I thought this is anonymous casino site that dont require such things since I am only depositing/withdrawing btc)

I then inform then, I did not know the account page mattered because I was looking for casino that does not require details when dealing with btc but if it does I am willing to provide ID and utility bill but they would then have to update my account details to reflect my real details.

Chris at support then email me telling me I broke rules filling in fake details (it is absolutely obvious I just pressed random letters and was not a clear attempt to enter fake details, everthing was entered 12343 etc.) and that they will remove my winnings and credit back my last deposit.

What the fuck ? First off, I did not gain an advantage, when I found out about my details issue I informed them to correct it, my ID and utility is completely valid. They are simply looking for a way to weasel out of paying me the 1000euro balance and at the same time they are stealing my first 2 deposits by just allowing me to withdraw my third deposit.

How does that make any sense, please dont ever deal with this site. If they go out of their way to weasel out of paying such a relatively small win and also steal my first 2 deposits, I cant imagine what they will do to anyone winning more than that.

Chris at bitstarz, I will continue to make people aware of your practices and zero valid reason to void my winnings and also steal my first 2 deposits.

I am telling you now publicly in case you read this, I will not stop, the internet will get daily details about how you stole from me until you return my full valid winnings that I won fair and square. Failure to do so will hopefully get your clear scam and theft exposed day in and day out.
