The easy thing to do is to make a token that carries a name or brand that is popular, as we know that the death of Queen Elizabeth is trending in various media, all the latest news from the BBC, Twitter, Facebook with the Elizabeth tag will get a big response and attention , but we must be aware of people who take advantage of the moment for scam use.

indeed it can make it easier for us in terms of marketing, but without a clear and targeted product can it last a long time, because what happens as you describe, it is possible that there will be hype that will take investors' money away from circulation, and make the project name bad so that not getting investors' trust anymore. this is the same as in the past using influential artists to endorse a project, where they didn't know anything about the project so it ended up being abandoned

Thanks for the heads up OP, i expected this sort of thing to happen, i mean, for anybody who has been in the network for sometime now, they will know that scammers are always pretty quick and inventive to use whatsoever is trending to deceive people pretty fast, and before the warnings and awareness starts to spread, some people would already have fallen victims. There are quite a lot of scam tokens out there, it doesn't even matter the name they are in, most of these tokens are to no good, thus people should avoid them completely and choose coins that have utility and is sustainable for the long period.

The crypto world with its convenience and freedom makes it easier for fraudsters to carry out their actions. It's better to be careful and learn more for all not only beginners in the crypto world, because fraudsters will take advantage of every moment and way to launch their actions.
Goodbye Queen Elizabeth

True, but as investors, we can handpicked with project to invest or not. If we think that it will be a scam like the one being proliferated right now due to the death of the queen then we should stay away from it and never give the fraudsters to get money from us. And as such, we know that this project is just short term, after the hype of the death by the Queen, all of them will also be disappear. So I do agree that everyone should avoid this tokens at any cost, not even a single satoshi should be 'donated' to this scammers.

It's true that we should avoid this token, because Ratu's death is used as an arena to cheat and take advantage of the hype that is happening, we must be careful because in the crypto world, the full responsibility for our funds lies with ourselves.

We all know that there will be some people who'll take advantage of this kind of occasion. People with no heart won't care about empathy and compassion, if tragedy can give them profits then why not?. You're right, the popularity of Queen can be used for the wrong intention, this is important to rise awareness about this, especially for newbies who only chase profits. Those who got trapped in this kind of project only care about hype. Saddening.

We are in the crypto market, which is a free, open market where people can do whatever they want.
It's sad that there are people who have taken advantage of a person's death to profit, but there is nothing we can do to stop them, the best way is not to invest in scam projects and pretend like this.

The death of Queen Elizabeth II is a mourning for the whole of England, but there are still people who use it to do evil things, for me I am really shocked to see this happen. Stay away from projects like this, don't abet evil.
Investors should be smarter now and must know what they are getting into, it’s obviously to become a scam project since it was only created due to this sadden event.

In my opinion, the investors have become a lot wiser, but the one thing that most people can't control is greed, their idea of getting rich quickly is something that never fades. They knew these tokens, memes, NFTs were 100% scams, but because they thought they were smarter than those scammers, they jumped into investing thinking they'd get out of it as soon as they made a profit. But no, they can't because the profit the scammers make has blinded them and they no longer remember their original plan. In the end, they are still the ones to bear the consequences.

this cryptocurrency market is so greedy and people who are obsessed with 10X to 1000X profits who even buy meaningless tokens just because they want the 10X to 1000X profits, of course many people know they are shit tokens, but they buy for do the pump and dump scheme, and whoever is lucky enough to have bought early gets a lot of profit, that is, many people rush to buy shit tokens early so that after the pump and dump is done they can make profits. even if you warn them that this altcoins or token is not something serious, it is not something honest, it is something immoral and it is disgusting because they use the name of someone who has already died and has nothing to do with the project, people run to buy it anyway early because they want to make 10X to 1000X profit on pump and dump scheme. you can see it on certain youtube channels talking about shit tokens and people getting excited to buy them. it is a sad and shameful situation what has been seen in this market

Meme coin creators keep things ready to create a coin according to the situation and make the best profit and fade out of the market. In the last few days it is possible to see a very big list of tokens being developed a some even got good bounce, which is a true manipulation. Yesterday onwards it was Charles lll on tokens as he taken the role as the king.
Basically, scammers use these types of name. They managed to create a hype in the market for short term but they ended up getting out of that project. After that he tried to scam again with another project. But now investors understand the strategy. Due to which such projects do not get a chance to stay for a long time. But nowadays scammers use names that are more acceptable to people. It could be the name of the famous person, a movie or something else.

Even before, it's common and usual to see some sh*tty projects that uses famous brand name even they are not directly affiliated with it e.g movies, hype coin, name etc. Mostly turned out scam, slowly dies, or their respective development is now stopped leaving their investors and believers hanging in the air.

Above all of this, I can't imagined why there are people who still shows interests on this kind of projects even there are lots of worthy coins to choose in the market. Even experienced ones still got fall on this. It shows that many people still got easily carried by the hype regardless of the brand name.

MAaaN...!! CUT THAT STUPID SHIT

I definitely believe that we shouldn't consider this to be a "smart" investment. But a friend of mine got into one of them very early on, and got out at x8 profit lol. I mean thats the problem with crypto, you could literally know something is a scam and you could still end up investing into it and still make a profit from a scam. In all cases you should at all times avoid investing into a scam and ther isn't a single reason you should invest into it. But at the end of the day how are you going to explain to people who made x8 profit from a scam to stay away from them in the end?

Those who enter early before the hype will always benefit. but those advantages are the big losses of many people who start getting into these scam projects. This kind of token has always been an attraction for token hunters, but some of them do not know what dangers lurk, there will be more losses than gains. The 8x profit that your friend gets will certainly be luck for your friend or even your friend has realized that it will be a scam in time and sell when the price is still high.

I truly find it very disrespectful that the people would even think of doing such a thing as a "Queen Elizabeth" coin. I believe it is a scam and they trying to foul the people into thinking that they are going to honor her memory by doing this type of thing.

I think anybody that falls victim to this is to be considered a glutton and greedily somebody. Because strategically, how on earth would you fall into such a petty trick all in the name of Queen Elizabeth? So absurd to me.

There will always be people who will fall into this trap, as they are thinking of possible gain.
Remember the squid token, even if it is not backed by the legit team, still people bought it.
The thought of possible profit is the main reason why they are buying even if they know it is a crappy or fake one.
But they should not blame anyone if they lose on this kind of investment, because it is all on them.

This is a government-related person, if there is no official released statement of the state from their official website then it is obviously a scam. Anyone who believe this gimmick and buy this shit is a halfwit and shouldn't be in this space (coz probably he will be always be a victim of scam)
You couldn't expect such an announcement from the royal family and the government. There is no reason why they need it but these scammers do for their own benefit. How pity they are, these scammers take advantage of the situation as they believe that someone, an innocent individual will fall into their trick. And unfortunately, it happens always, a lot of people who make these scammers lives for scamming and people don't change, many keep still thinking about easy money in crypto, which in fact, it was not.
Don’t wait for any official announcement because they will never do this, they will not make an attempt to make money after what happened. Let’s give respect to the queen, and avoid this kind of scam at all cost. We know many will take advantage of this situation which is very normal to a scammer. This project is useless and a real scam, avoid at all cost.

I’m a little speechless. It’s really sad that even a dead person is being used to make money. From what it looks like, scammers really don’t shy away from anything. I can only advise anyone not to buy something like that. It’s all about making the scammers quick money and nothing else. I really hope not a lot of people fall for that.  Cry Roll Eyes
Scammers have always been selfish for their own desires, even if it means ruining a high established name. This is why if ever red flags already appear in the first place, then never give your trust on them and stay away in projects that you think will turn into scams in the end. Though newbies easily fall for this, but giving such awareness through avoiding scam tokens from the name of the late queen might be helpful for them not to lose their money in an instant.

Of course, what scammers have in mind is money, so they will do anything for personal gain. Including using the late Queen Elizabeth's big name
to commit fraud, that's why we have to be careful when choosing projects for investment. Don't let us become victims of fraud and benefit fraudsters,
because we are moved by the late Queen Elizabeth. The crypto world is increasingly vulnerable today, fraudsters try all kinds of methods to trap
their victims.

Actually, if we are experienced in the crypto world we can at least distinguish which ones are fake projects, while what is worried is newbies,
who lack knowledge and experience. That's why I'm glad to have this kind of topic, at least it can educate newbies that they must be careful
in choosing projects for investment. In fact, I would suggest that newbies avoid investing in new projects whose risks are indeed very high.
Now, there have been a lot of new projects that ended up being scams, that's why newbies should just focus on investing in top coins first.

This so-called opportunity will not come a second time, in terms of human greed, in terms of grief they are still thinking about their pockets, is there no quality concept compared to having to make token jokes like that, everyone will think twice about investing their funds in  this trash token, I really believe that everyone is really smart, if there is someone who still believes in the token, I can't understand his mindset..
It's sad to see scammers take advantage of any situation to get more money from scam projects, but don't trust the NFT trading volume on the market because it only lures investors to buy it before the NFT price gets higher. I think we should educate to prohibit buying that NFT in the respective crypto community because many beginners don't know the fact that meme tokens are just for pump and dump without utility.

Anybody that have been in crypto space for long time won't fall for the scam, the format is kind of cheap to me but am sure lot's of people will still fall victim, let's all try and avoid the coin and NFT, let's stay safe.

You know, this is such cheap behaviour, and this kind of behaviour should be punished. But I can understand their mentality in trying to make money or scam other people through the death of someone. On the other hand, I don't know how people can be so stupid who are trying to invest in these kinds of unprofessional projects. And before investing, they actually think that they can make money from these kinds of unprofessional projects. I think you remember the squid game token who actually came and scammed millions of dollars from the market. If you can remember that moment, then why are you thinking of investing in that kind of company? I have no more words to say anything about this kind of stupid decision. That's my opinion; others might be different. Thank you.

For those who still believe in this type of token, of course they don't have any knowledge, or they just take advantage of the hype that lasts for the blink of an eye. The new token created in the name of Queen Elizabeth is just a trigger to get many people interested. The token developer certainly gets a lot of benefits from the token fraud which will eventually lose. I have often seen tokens like this, only appearing at certain times like the Squid Game token, which was hype and caused a lot of losses.

Again, when we see a trend, scammers will use that opportunity to take advantage of those newbies in cryptocurrencies.
For us, it's not new. From the dog to the billionaire name, they used all of that because it becomes a catchy name and it will also be hit by the trend happening in social media.

After the death of Queen Elizabeth, there are already a lot of tokens created especially in the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) and most of the scams are on that chain. I have no clue why need to create that kind of token. On what purpose?
By doing this, it is already fishy why most of people still diving there?

There is nothing more to it than a scam. Maybe to my knowledge they use the image of the queen to launch the meme and the NFT then post the sale announcement in tribute to the queen or worse they will lie that these collections are issued by the British government in memory of Queen Elizabeth...For those who love the queen I'm sure they won't mind spending some money to buy it or profit-seeking names will also buy with the aim of reselling at a higher price.

Scammers do their own thing to take advantage of other people's death for a profit. Check on https://poocoin.app/ there are some tokens recently created under the name of Queen Elizabeth II, try to search this tag of "Queen" and Elizabeth to see for yourself. Obviously they are enticing some gullible newbie investors who will invest into these scam tokens so stay away from investing. At the end after the hype is over they will rug the project after the accumulated amount.

I wonder why there are scammers who could take us in the name of the late Queen Elizabeth. She deserves respect so this way of deceiving investors should be avoided. Scammers will always use the latest trend to fool people. If we could remember the project Squid game which has fooled lots of investors, that should serve everyone as a lesson. We must always research so we'll never be scammed.

Scammers don't know how to respect all they want is to make money, people are always looking for the next big thing and they don't want to be late in the new trend, they are not creating a new meme or NFT token for the sake of creating one, they are also good in marketing and how to entice people to invest with what they are offering they are professionals, they know what kind of marketing works and they know how tro create projects that looks real, there will be victims of these Queen Elizabeth meme, people who are new in the investing community, people who cannot differentiate a good project from bad one.

Yes, this is a trap.
It will be a problem when the Queen Elizabeth-themed NFT coin whose name is still cloudy in our ears is jacked up until the price soars, after the name of this coin skyrockets and the price is suddenly high, certain individuals or groups sell their crypto. assets, causing prices to rise. fall, aka dump. Similar to the Squid Games token that crashed and burned in October last year after its price skyrocketed.

I just can't imagine that there are still people that falls for those obvious scam. I mean even if as a newbie, I wouldn't believe on those scam tokens that promises a quick huge return. What kind of marketing that people behind those token do that they are able to gather huge amount of money from their victims.

Any token or NFT that is created to take advantage of a historic event usually has no real utilities so it is best to always stay away from them. Newbies should learn to not buy any crypto related stuff if it's just being hyped.

These scammers are really fast, it is very remarkable how within just 24 hours of the queens death, they have launched scam tokens themed around her. You will be surprised that they already may have gotten a few victims who have fallen prey especially those in the UK. I sincerely hope no newbie here is that dumb not to be able to discern that this is another activity of scammers.

I think these scam tokens in the name of the late Queen Elizabeth is created by the same people who always exploit certain events and trends and later poof.  This is obvious a scam projects that exploits naïve investors and newbies and eventually run away with the funds.  I hope not many will fall victim to this scam.

There will be always victims fall into this kind of thing to pay their "tribute" to the queen. I mean I feel bad to whoever falls for it especially in this kind of time. Just avoid whatever coins from non-official team especially bringing the Queen's name, they are trying to milk you.

Exactly, many people are really utilizing this condition, creating many more meme coins related to Queen Elizabeth II's dies. And many newbies may be attracted and then trapped in the shit meme coin and NFT. Be careful because sometimes, your respect doesn't mean buying the coin or NFT. Moreover they are commonly created by scammers. I see that many people are attracted to buying the assets, because of the hype, and we actually don't know if the coins or NFT will last longer. This is only a kind of extraordinary temporary event that will only cause hype and FOMO. So, this may not be suitable for long-term investment, and not suitable for newbies who don't know how to utilize the chance and the time to buy and sell. Be careful once more.

Most people of colour will already be avoiding any token concerned with exploiting any emotions related with someone who recently died as well, What I do know is there are going to be numerous NFT's on and off for months to come, since NFT can be said ' a piece of art ' people would usually try and sell it knowingly unknowingly creating a big deal out of nothing, at the end when they realize that they have been scammed they are not only going to hate the scammer but also the queen as well, thus I do think that you have to understand to ' filter the scams ', ' not be a part of it ' ( don't spread anything anywhere)

It's funny how people really go around using hit names to make up scam tokens, and the greedy/newbie investors will always be victim, they couldn't even wait a little. First was the SquidGame which scammed people millions of dollars.
Thanks for bringing this up this early, only if people will not be ignorant and invest in this shitcoin

Scammers are taking advantage of trending events to spread their scams, beginners should beware of any coins or NFTs bearing the name of the late Queen Elizabeth, scammers want quick money by cheating and deceiving innocent people so avoid clicking on unknown links or avoid temptations that come to you on telegram or email And avoid buying from unknown exchange platforms because scammers target unthinking and greedy people.

Using the name of a public person in the name of a coin should already be a red flag for everyone. I admit that a commemorative coin may be issued in memory of Queen Elizabeth II of England, but such issues are accompanied by a statement from an official source.

As for the release of a tribute to the queen, it must be the UK government or possibly the queen's family that is responsible for this release. The proceeds from the sale of tokens or NFTs should be donated to charities or to funds that help people in need. It should not be issued by scammers with the aim of taking people's money for their own. All projects like this should be red flags to warn people and stay away from them if someone doesn't want to become a victim.

Taking advantage of the name of the late Queen Elizabeth is something we can't avoid of.

But honestly, will there really be people that will be believed in such projects without doing DYOR?

In that case, I don't know who's to blame in terms of possible scams that will happen.

despite the warnings many of the newbies fall for this thinking the price will go up and they can double the investment instantly. there are many of them talking in social media about these queen meme tokens. and they are reminded of doge and shib to entice them to buy.
watchout for joe biden inu and putin inu. while its not yet out, warn the newbies already.

Most of the victim is not a newbie at all but rather just fool trader that willing to risk money for a quick returns on this pump and dump token. This shitcoins works like a ponzi and risk taker investors knew it but still they are doing a high risk high reward scheme. Only few innocent newbie fall victim on this because it’s very hard to find this kind of tokens if you are not familiarize on where to find it. It’s either they was recruit to buy or forcefully invite to the group to see this scam tokens.

Waw! scammers don't waste any time at all it seems, it is not even up to 24 hours since the queen's death was announced and already there are several shittokens in her name! who will be so dumb enough to buy such shittokens anyways?
This is one aspect where decentralization is not so good, anyone can just create any fake project to scam people, I hope people will be smart enough to avoid any project with the late queens name.

There’s always a scammer of some sort, trying to profit off tragedy. Some of these people have a special place in hell waiting for them. I hate reading about people who fall victim to scams like this.

Unfortunately, the cryptocurrency space is still new and unregulated, giving scammers plenty of ways to dupe unsuspecting victims. It's sad that scammers are taking advantage of the Queen's passing by introducing tokens featuring her name. The truth is that using the name of anyone or anything for promotional purposes in the cryptocurrency space will eventually be identified by a vigilant community, and in most cases be condemned. Especially when it is about a deceased person.

As the cryptocurrency industry continues to grow, so too will the number of scams that come with it. The best way to combat this problem is by banding together as a community and being vocal about these fraudulent schemes whenever they arise. If you see someone promoting tokens that seem fishy or are taking advantage of recent world events, please speak up, because as long as we continue to remain silent, then scammers will continue to get away with their crimes. The cryptocurrency and blockchain community is one of the most innovative, hard-working groups of people in the world, and we should not allow ourselves to be taken advantage of by criminals who are only interested in making a quick buck. The more we speak up, the less likely they are to succeed.

Maybe the scammers after hearing this news immediately made tokens and traded them on the DEX they continued to trap many people with the theme (Queen) like this and I read the article that this meme coin increase has increased by several percent due to their much interest in the newly created token a day that's why I guess the scammers seem to keep preying on the falling victims in their tokens.
It's ironic that there is such a thing but there are still many who get stuck and buy it.

Underestimate- nothing
I'm grateful for this knowledge. Scammers will undoubtedly begin fabricating things in the wake of her passing. As previously stated, we should be cautious about the projects we invest in at this time because scammers are becoming more well-known, so any new information they learn will be used to perpetrate fraud, particularly with regard to NFTS, which the writer claimed to be the case. Since knowledge is power and has already been disseminated, the adage "word is enough for the wise" applies here, so if you have any questions about anything, feel free to ask them on this forum, which has many packages and knowledgeable

Anyone who believe this gimmick and buy this shit is a halfwit and shouldn't be in this space (coz probably he will be always be a victim of scam)
They are called degen. Yes they even knew that the token is prone to scam and aware of possible rug pull. But their not halfwits. They just risking higher than typical people. Cant really advise newbies or anyone to invest on such hype coins or tokens but this kind of situation are being ride by some CTs whom are not afraid of losing but instead brave enough to earn a lot of multiplier knowing the consequence.

I remember my degen plays before that even earn 20x to 50x knowing its a scam but of course I knew the risk. Its just a shamed to take advantage of such an event where a popular person died.

Or avoid the highly obvious scam tokens in general, with the obvious signs of having names of whatever doesn't have any affiliations with them in the first place. (Dogelon Mars, whatever this monstrosity you've mentioned, etc)

This has been discussed before and I suggest to lock your topic:
1. Crypto markets see flood of Queen Elizabeth memecoins and NFTs
2. Queen Elizabeth and Cryptocurrency

There's already a lot scam tokens can be found everywhere including coinmarketcap, I don't see any reason why we need to warn about scam tokens anymore since it's only have difference on the names only. It's nothing surprised when there's a trend or popular event happen, there's a scammer taking advantage to create a token with the name of the event.

Beginners should be aware that this is a very clear scam, don't look at it in terms of profit but must be observant and alert not to get caught up in what they make to drain your money, therefore avoid it and look for news that is positive for us, not with the hype trends that we see.

I don't want too many people relying on this obscure meme coin, after all their Queen Elizabeth coin is a scam.

I also saw on twitter a lot of tokens like this, it looks like scamers are doing this blindly.
