There's no point to relief for buying tokens just only hype issue. Yes, there you must be found some legit tokens and will perform shortly.  It's totally depends yourself how you perform over the crazy token markets.

You can avoid buying tokens because of hype by not buying tokens because of hype.

Right, doesn't seem like rocket science. Do your due diligence if you're going to
invest, otherwise ignore the flood of crap deluging the market as of late. That's
how to avoid. I guess. Weird question.

ive noticed multiple icos being red hot straight after being listed on exchanges (ie monetha) and gradually dropping over time. how can i avoid such projects and what main factors would indicate this overpriced tokens situation in the market? thanks in advance!

Do your research - take your time and check the fundamentals before you invest in anything.

The main factors about the transparency of the project itself, but not only monetha but another project just like airtoken gets hammered due to the bitcoin hardfork demand.
Please remember to not try to follow your friend or someone that gives you any suggestion about ico. Just look at yourself and do your own research regarding ico and never try to put all of your money in one basket just like you are putting in some promising project to decrease the risk.

As far as what I've seen, this always happens to almost every finished ICO out there. The initial price of the coin is almost always high, but after the distribution of tokens and when it hits exchanges, bounty hunters and even investors dumps there coins right away. The thing is, it is very rare to find a project that actually has a potential to last and has an actual use. Most ICOs are created just for quick money, even for developers.

It'S easy imho. Always buy when everybody or the whole market is scared and sell when everybody is showing his great calls from the past and is predicting flippening.

This eactly happend in the beginning of the. But I know, it is hard to sell when you are totally euphoric.

The thing with HYPE is that you can make a lot of money if you happen to buy at the right time and sell at the right time. But the chances that you'll lose money are much bigger. Also your not really supporting the birth a better world by feeding the hype coins, since when you are making money it means that somebody else is losing it. That's not really the spirit of Crypto but, then again, a way to make a quick buck Maybe..

To be true, 90% of issued tokens are pump and dump. You profit if you dump them in proper time.
The rest 10% are issued by real companies which price are nearly constant before the production of product/service and rises after that.

Yes - there is a lot of hype about certain coins. I fell for this in the very beginning but no longer. Read the white paper - do your due diligence.
