P2E game Axie Infinity is back on the menu, as we're seeing a 205% rise in NTF sales volume just since the last week. Axie has generated more than $1.3 million from selling NFTs over the last seven days

One of the factors that contributed to the sudden increase seems to be investors' sudden love for the Axie Land NFTs, which give weekly rewards in Axie's AXS tokens. As of now, more than 90% of the tokens were staked. Jeff Zirlin, the project's co-founder said that "nature was healing", hinting at the project's restoration.
They are improving but they are still a long way to go from their all-time high but they are out of the crash zone, fo the time being, the SLP is not profitable anymore, I remember Axie was making headlines at the start of the pandemic many are going on it as their source of income while they are lock up but now that the situation improves and the majority are back on their livelihood Axie's price and activity started to drop, they should keep up with updates and improvement of the games.

Wont really be a solid thing for us to say that it would make out that recovery even if they do launched out that land-based staking and do generate that kind of revenue on selling nft's but still the overall

game wont really be the same just like into those glory days. Why? as long they wont be able to create a burning mechanism then i dont see any chances of recovery of this game.

They have said about 10B is needed but on the amount minted then its not surprising that they are going down.
For AXS it might show different scenario but still would be on the same story.

This increasement in volume hasn't impacted SLPs positively so far, since they are still pricing dust of cents of dollar (US$ 0,003). Actually SLP has hit its bottom today. Developers need to create new usages for SLP in order to boost its demand and price again. The last major update which removed rewards from adventure mode didn't help SLP price balance and stability in anyways. It seems it happened exactly the opposite, because many players don't like PVP mode, so they just lost interest for the game once they were forced to play against other players for rewards.

But I can't blame Axie at all. It is the most successful NFT game of the industry, which has been efficient in fighting cheaters and keeping the environment sustainable for a long time already. And that is not too little for a limited game which doesn't offer many features, diferent from mmorpgs of the same NFT niche which could be on the top of the world, but aren't because they do nothing to stop bots, scammers and abusers in general.

It used to be $80 (0.02 eth) for an axie, now it's $6 (0.005) I don't think it's really going that well for them over there.

It's a better price though to get going with easting out nfts now which I don't think is too much of a bad thing $240 for an experiment is definitely worse than $18 (though I don't think an investment to experiment with the game is required anymore).
