Okay so I tried searching in google and read some threads in this forum about it but didn't get the answer anywhere.
So does anybody know how much confirmations are needed for a transaction in the B2X chain?

However many the recipient wants.

I also had some theories that if a BTC transaction needs 6 confirmatoins for a 1MB block size

BTC does NOT need 6 confirmations.

SOME recipients prefer more than 6 confirmations.
SOME recipients prefer at least 6 confirmations.
SOME recipients prefer at least 3 confirmations.
SOME recipients prefer at least 1 confirmation.
SOME recipients are willing to accept a transaction with 0 confirmations.

EVERY confirmations adds more security that you are on the consensus chain, and that your transaction won't be replaced.

This means that 100 confirmations is more secure than 50 confirmations, and 50 confirmations is more secure than 6 confirmations.  It is up to the recipient to determine how mush risk they are willing to accept, and how long they are willing to wait.

then the B2X transaction having 2 MB block would need 12 confirmations. Is this theory wrong ?

Yes. That theory is wrong.
