Thank you very, very much for the information!  I will get another (current / supported) wallet.  Thanks again.

You don't need to backup any files. You can simply restore from the word phrase... that is the whole point of the word phrase... the entire wallet can be recreated from those words.

Also, you realise that MultiBitHD has been discontinued and is no longer maintained or supported right? In addition it has some critical bugs that could prevent you from accessing your keys in the form of the "Password did not unlock the wallet" error... (check the multiple threads about it)

If you absolutely MUST have a backup of the wallet file for you own peace of mind... then look in the data directory as per your OS: https://multibit.org/help/hd0.4/files.html

Hello.

So I am absolutely clueless here and can not find an option in the wallet (I have the latest version) to allow me to back up the wallet.  I've googled and got this:   https://multibit.org/help/hd0.3/backups.html

I am still scratching my head.  Yeah, I have the original word phrase and all that...but I want to BACK UP my wallet to a usb drive or something in case something goes wrong with the hard drive on my desk top where the wallet lives.  Is there a specific file or files that I need to save on the usb drive?

Please help?

Thank you very much in advance!!
