has anyone tried building a backplane for PSUs?
i was thinking something where you could expand your power supplies to power multiple machines..
example, 4x1500w psu's powering 3 machines, perhaps even hot swappable?
Some folks are already using server PSUs because of their high power and efficiency. If you could find the connectors that they use, you could probably build such a backplane. Its a cool idea, but power distribution is a bit more tricky with low voltage DC, because of potentially heavy losses from incorrect cabling. i was thinking something where you could expand your power supplies to power multiple machines..

I just ordered a 2360 watt server PSU, and it would be great for powering more than one rig - since each rig is limited to 8 GPUs anyway. If they were directly adjacent to each other, it could work well.
