Support is absolutely atrocious...  support tickets are never answered..

days ago I was commenting on that, these exchange does not have office and no one knows how many employees have to answer the support tickets, how do the government authorities allow them ( these exchanges ) to take our documents to verify our accounts?

Don't know if it's just me but I've just about given up on this exchange..

When a coin updates it's wallet it takes weeks before Yobit will update theirs making deposits and withdrawals very difficult..

I've had a couple of occasions when after buying a coin, Yobit immediately sold it again at approx 25% loss..  I don't run a bot or any other auto-buy/sell programme.

most times the pages don't auto-update after a trade, meaning a manual refresh..

Support is absolutely atrocious...  support tickets are never answered..

Get used to it since there are lots of complaints and bad experiences on such exchange site and this is the thing why i didnt turned back into the site. Support sucks and their trading system do suck too. Ive lost some coins on depositing but it didnt went through and try to contact their support but it takes ages for them to reply which i lose my interest on following it up. Better to use other exchange even hitbtc would be far more better than on yobit.

Terrible customer support and very bad experiences were the reason why I quit using Yobit. I know know how they still exist having in mind such a big number of customers complaints and scam accusations. There are much more better exchangers with more transparent business and much better customer relations. I wouldn't suggest to continue using Yobit. Whit such big competition it's miracle how they kept their business.

the only issue that i always had with Yobit is the fact that most of their wallets are dead or empty. so the only option you have is to deposit/withdraw bitcoin and a couple of altcoins like BTC, ETH, and the big ones generally.

p.s. it is time to start thinking about decentralized exchanges more seriously. things are starting to get ridiculous with the shenanigans that these centralized exchanges pull on us. we want to trade cryptocurrencies anyways so there shouldn't be any problem running one anyways. the issues are always with fiat.

Nova Exchange is Closing

Cryptopia owes me 100k+USD or 1.2 million CSC -> Trading of non existing coins  (Read 1359 times)

Yobit indeed seldom updates wallets
(as seen above)
My own experience: Withdrawal stuck forever. Weeks later suddenly arrived, however. No coins lost.

We are running low on tradesites for small coin projects. Cryptopia could be closing sooner than Nova does, allready running on fractional reserve and broken database backends, and Yobit lacks the admins in their team to take over these market shares.
Safe bet just the big tradesites will survive and a handfull of altcoins remain tradeable.

Seems like there's issues everywhere in the exchange world.

Bittrex has blocked users from Iran and apparently kept the proceeds...

Thanks for the heads up on Cryptopia, I was completely unaware of their problems mate.. cheers

I've definitely had bad experiences with Yobit, but the good ones outnumber the bad.  Still, because they're inconsistent and unreliable, I don't trust them and wouldn't trade any significant sums of money--not that I trade a lot anyway.

Their site is totally mobile-unfriendly, which I can't stand.  And last time I tried to withdraw Dash, it said the wallet was in maintenance mode and I couldn't do it.   Frankly I wouldn't be surprised if they pull a Cryptsy or get shut down by regulators.   In fact, I think it's only a matter of time.
