Even the bitcoin paradise is preparing to ban the transaction in this currency.

Recently, an Indonesian official said the Southeast Asian's largest economy was investigating the use of bitcoin at the Bali resort island.

Virtual money can also be used to money laundering and terrorist financing, affecting the stability of the financial system and causing damage to society.

Bali residents say bitcoin is mainly used by expats arriving on the island. Bali Island is a tourist paradise of Indonesia with 80% of foreign tourists and a large expat community.

Hi... Mariah have you visited Bali , if yes when?
I'm Indonesian and I hate our government they never give chance to use huge potential in Bitcoin and crypto.
using bitcoin in Indonesia is extreme violation law , you must using 3rd party exchanger like Indodax (formerly bitcoin.co.id) then convert to IDR (Indonesia Rupiah) then they allow you use the money to transact money. we are here wish Central Bank build crypto money pegged by IDR (Rupiah) so then open the eyes bitcoin and crypto is inevitable.
