I'm pretty sure that BAMT only supports up to 6 cards. What version are you running? I think 1.3 just came out. But either way, I doubt you'll get it to see 7 cards. Have you tried removing one and trying again?

I would get down to one card, see if it boots. If it does, make sure cgminer recognizes the card. It will say right on the screen. Give it a few minutes. Then if you're good, shut down, add another card, rinse and repeat.

EDIT: Also, from what I've read, you will probably have stability issues with anything more than 4 cards per rig. I would build 2 rigs if I were you. Just my opinion. Good luck!

I've just set up BAMT on my 7 GPU rig and I get the following error as the OS is loading: "Failed to start the x server (your graphical interface). It is likely that it is not set up correctly. Would you like to view the X server output to diagnose the problem?"

Does anyone have any idea what this means? Could it be that I need to put dummy plugs in my GPUs?

System specs are as follows:

7 x Sapphire 7950 Dual-X
MSI Z77A-GD65 Mobo
2 x Corsair RM850 PSU
Intel Celeron G1610 CPU
8GB Corsair RAM
Powered Riser Cables
