Seems that it has been almost two years since the final ban:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/xcajun21-913898

Regarding that right now there is a function only to signature ban.

You have to ask people of the community here, what they have given back, and not what they gathered as pride, earnings or anything of that sorts; Do people here feel to be in the right place? Or are they constrained by their duty bound to their signature, boredom, and escaping reality?  What have you learned? What keeps you here, on this forum?

If you have Plagiarised more than once, probably your chance to get the account back is a no go area. Probably even the apeal email link that's been attached to the Waring message I don't know if it does work.

There was ever an elaborate, human like, unbiased answer to any of these topics? All i seen were generic, robotic like murmur of thoughts on the idea, "the sky is blue", "the water is blue", kind of a thing people keep doing basic associations, but never looking behind the reason, or looking with awareness.

Do you want highly intelligent philosophical discussions about why plagiarism is something that is resulting in permanent ban on this forum? I think there are hundreds of threads that are open on the topic of plagiarism, but the thing is very simple and it is in the forum rules. You made plagiarism, you got caught in it, and the punishment is perma ban.

The unfair thing here is that the person who reported, looked deep into that profile, was probably a person who had a grudge. Why would you look deep into a profile, looking for some mistake that it happened long time ago (at the point of being active), for example accounts getting at for something long ago. Who is this person who looks into these profiles? The profile who he reported it was not a newbie doing spam. Do you think this is fair, for the person to lurk around freely, while the system gets against the banned user, for he is without knowing or having a saying. Such deep rules, huh? Such strong rules. Right!

Obviously you are not aware that someone is run a bot who is check for plagiarism, thousands of accounts were permanently banned in one short period, and I don't think anyone had anything against you personally. I'm surprised you ask questions like this without knowing a bit about the history of the forum.

A wave of bans: 400 yesterday, 300 the day before. What changed?

You people only care about the approval of the manager/person who gives you the signature, or the merit. You guys are not free. Look on any other forum, like reddit, or anything alike, they don't go around like bots, following some program.

I do not agree that it is wise to generalize and put everything in the same basket, not everyone is here for money nor is everything in the merits. Good signature campaigns are the privilege of those who have been on this forum for years, have given and still give something to this community - and merits are part of a system to combat spammers and prevent bots from destroying this forum.

I consider myself free, from day one I try to stick to the rules of the forum - and it never occurred to me to present someone else’s work as my own - whether it is in the forum rules or not. And as for other forums, I don’t want to comment on their policy towards plagiarism or fighting bots - if that’s allowed somewhere then that’s their problem.

You don't get it (who ever reading this). The unfair thing here, is not that i was part of some rule i did not even know about, and probably many outside this forum never knew about or cared about, unless they are part of some deep lust to find something to earn $ on and then they would instantly adhere to any rule, out of approval for the people here in order to get $.
No sense of freedom?

This user who reported, did it do any good to this community atm? for not throwing a mere warning or anything (as if he is pushing out competition), but probably following its vile intentions? You telling me people here are so loving and so caring. Those culprit posts where not recent at that time, and where posted with the intention of information, and to be honest, no one in the right mind, ask your relatives and your friends, know or cared about that rule this almighty forum has. I see so many bots around who follow the same thing, such pity, because it does pay to be like a robot, have no feelings and not being genuine at all.

You people only care about the approval of the manager/person who gives you the signature, or the merit. You guys are not free. Look on any other forum, like reddit, or anything alike, they don't go around like bots, following some program. I really don't get people who answer, with a sig under their profile, blaming and parroting at the person who is "wrong doing", who does not have the signature itself, to me this is hypocrite, selfish behavior. I'am not talking about people who posted here, cause i appreciate the effort, but talking about other posts where the users are appealing and then someone random posts the same notions who lead to no outcome but increasing the rating and post numbers.

But of course. That rule was probably an error in the system, but only the users paid, and the mods cannot do anything about the problem they caused, not having time to fix it, because why? No one admits they were here for the $. Well, i don't think it was fair and that's why i stand by my appeal. There should be more solidarity because we are not robots telling ourselves we are made of tin can with sterile, empty thoughts.

You plagiarised many times, not only a single one. That's bad. If you read [TIPS] to avoid plagiarism you will understand that there are second chances for users who deserve it and contributed (good net effects) on the forum before the ban hammer found them.

That is not what I can see from your account xcajun21. I am sorry if it is a painful fact for you.

This option has been around for some time, but only a few have had the privilege of using it. Everyone has the right to ask for decisions to be reconsidered, including you - but some forum members who had only 1 plagiarized post did not get a second chance (and they had great support from other forum members), and i your case it is about this :

And When Global Mode has the following opinion, your chances are almost nil.

This is bullish*t. Some moderator please answer.

Unless the rules regarding plagiarism change then you're unlikely to be unbanned.
