thanks guys for these tips, it seems he havent recive any PM from the mods but red font notification is up on the top of profile stating 14days ban and the last post made by him is 14June. so it seems he has to wait fr abother a week or less.

You can post his profile link here or PM Badbear and inquire when was the ban initiated. When you get banned, there is no message/email sent informing the user of the same.

yes no email or notification sent to him just a red text up on the top stating reason and number of days but figured out from his last post. Hopefully it will be reinstated by end o the month. BADbear he is scared to approach him by looking at his name Cheesy thanks again

friend of mine got banned for 14days but he lost track when his ban initiated. now how he can check since PM and posting is blocked for him

apology for initiating new thread but couldnt find any appropriate thread where this info is available

thanks

I assume he can still see his latest posts/PMs? if so, then you can try two things
1. see the last post of the banned account then count to 14.
2. if it's deleted, check the PM sent by "Bitcoin Forum" and do the same.

it won't be 100% accurate, but close enough

AFAIK there is no message or something like that on when a banned account will be unbanned, however in your friend's case he should only wait until the ban is lifted. Remember that he can create new account to post here in meta and send a pm. Dont ever think of posting outside meta while the ban is still in effect or his account will be permanently banned

I have never been banned but I assume your friend can still log in and check the PMs. There should also be a message there in red informing whether the account is still banned.
