Omega already answered this pretty perfectly but in case you needed it explained in more detail for future reference. The format they require it in is always indicated by the letter. In this case DDMMYY which means the 2 numbers for date, 2 for month and 2 for year (you would drop the 19 or 20 from the beginning of your birth year), effectively they make the assumption that anything 00 through to 18 is 2000-2018.

The same thing can be seen where you must enter your expiry date of you card, this time in MMYYYY format which would be the 2 for month (say 09 for September) and then the year in full, including the 19/20.

I've not come across any forms or such yet that have required you to drop the 0's.

If you are born in 30 January 1990 then It's going to be 300190, only 6 digits are required. The format is already given to you, DDMMYY.

So i tried to do my first purchase of Bitcoin today and i got asked to authorise the purchase which led me to a window looking like this:

https://image.prntscr.com/image/-mtFnxmeRuW4nD-AxnqABQ.png

But the problem is as i started to fill in the form that it will not allow me to fully write my DOB . It has only space for 6 digits on the field. I tried to skip the 0s like 7-9-19xx, but it would say it's an invalid DOB imput. Anyone familiar with this issue?
