Hi everyone

Thanks, it all solved, I erased all posts - ban removed.

Also thank you confirming - there is no bias. I will not advertise that aggressive (green banner, etc) anymore.

Sincerely apologise to everyone, whom got irritated by all those posts on forum, and thanks to admins reconsidering  the case

Just an FYI:

Advertising spam is not allowed, this includes mining pools...

So xhomerx10 is right and I am going to start reporting pool adverts more often, rather than just the ones I find particularly annoying because they show up on every page of an ANN thread.

Guys, I dont understand what the problem, why dont we ban everyone posting about their pools in coin threads? Why exactly zergpool, is there some kind of bias? Or competitors just put few more spam reports on my posts?

Is that permanent or temporary ban?

I have said, I am ok to delete those posts, I also apologized few times already. What else should I do?

Just so you know, I have been reporting not only your posts but any member's posts that utilize a graphic/large bold coloured text etc to advertise their pool within another member's thread.  There is no bias; ads are reported as I find them and you are not being singled out.  I have reported thousands of advertising posts.
I would understand if this message concerned small new pools, this pool large and works for a long time. you could just write him a private message so he could correct all his messages.

You're right, I could have done that or he could have read and understood the rules about advertising - there were probably many other ways for him to avoid a ban.  I have no idea if his venture is large or small and neither do I care - I am reporting all.  I could have kept quiet and no one would have been the wiser but I wanted to alleviate his fears of biased persecution.

Perhaps rather than joining his compatriots and posting his ads, he should have reported the existing ones to prevent the other "me too" spam ads.

 This isn't about me.

Now you posting fast.
When someone ask you something that you think are bad for you and your pool - silence.

Lol, so true!

I don't mind the occasional advert from a pool operator, but some of them try to get their posts on every single page of an ANN thread which has the exact opposite effect they are intending; I won't support/use any product/service advertised with spam.

As it stands it is permanent, but I have temporarily unbanned the account. Please go through and remove all the spam advertising. PM me once you're done and I'll change the ban to temporary. Wait out the ban then you can post as normal.

However, pinpins created pinpin1 and posted outside Meta which is considered as Ban evasion.

I see you have setup high payout level 0.05.
You can reset it by pl=0

Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ

25. Ban evasion (using or creating accounts while one of your accounts is banned) is not allowed.[e]
Examples:
25. If you get banned (temporary or permanently) and create a new account to continue posting / sending PMs, it's considered ban evasion. The only exception is creating a thread in Meta about your ban.

Just to clarify I cannot delete old "spam" posts , as no permissions, if they expect me to do so. I would need permission to delete those posts..

pinpins says: I can delete those messages that got tagged as "spam" and all any other actions needed. I would really like to get my account re-activated. Please let me know what I can do in order to get my account re-activated.

Any help/suggestions are welcome.

Thanks

Can he remove posts? If so, go through and delete all the spam and I'll change it to a temp ban.

Absolutely I can do that.
Just, I saw other pool ops are advertising directly in coins threads, so did I.
I am once again sorry for that.

Also some coins dev are actually welcoming posts supporting their coins, or even asking to post zergpool.com started to support them.

There is no reason to explain why a moderator have to banned someone, The one reason behind this are that banned person doesn't reading pin post or not having the knowledge on the rules and regulations provided in the forum, Which could lead to permanent banning of your account, I really think the 1 week ban offense is consider a warning for most of us in the forum.

Hi,

I am creating this topic for user account "pinpins" who is currently wondering why his account has been banned (no reason has been provided). If any moderator or admin could clarify on the subject, it would be very appreciated.

Thanks
