Did this earlier also.

I know for a fact my bank uses FPS

Still twiddling my thumbs here lol. Ahh well, its bed time and maybe they shall be in there in the morning.

Nite all

EDIT: Awake and pingit funds are there, took less than 2 minutes for them to turn into coins. Also the FPS bank transfer worked although it may have been slow due to it being a weekend or sunday night maybe.

The time spent waiting meant that BTC went down by £0.27 by the time I could buy, so I cant really complain too much lol

Payments to other UK current accounts with Faster Payment Service could be processed within 2 hours but could take up to 24 hours.

Yup, now that Blockchain.info/wallet supports Faster Payments directly, that might be a better option for the next time:

Shouldnt take more than 24 hours - usually less than 2 however this is not guaranteed - if it doesnt show up by tomorrow I would call them.
Barclays -> Barclays is instant.

From their website:

How long will the payments take?

Payments between UK accounts, whether made using Barclays Pingit or other methods, take different times depending on a number of factors. The times given below are a fair estimate but are not guaranteed. Payments from a Barclays Pingit Wallet take the same time as from any other Barclays current account.

If the recipient is registered:
Payments to other Barclays current accounts will normally go through immediately.
Payments to other UK current accounts with Faster Payment Service could be processed within 2 hours but could take up to 24 hours.

If the recipient is not registered:
Once you make the payment, the recipient has 24 hours to register for Barclays Pingit. The payment will then be made along the same timescales as above. If they don't register in time, no payment will be taken and your instruction will be cancelled.

Please note: Sometimes payments are delayed to allow us to carry out some extra checks in order to help us protect your account from potentially fraudulent activity.

Hi guys.

Decided to try pingit finally.

Sent funds from a non barclays account to my pingit wallet.

Still waiting 24hours plus later.

Does anyone have a timeframe I could work off?

I know it takes longer to clear as I'm going from a non barclays account, but a guesstimate would do me fine.

Thanks
