did you join this, i don't think there's any harm in trying it maybe this project will provide a free airdrop like arb, let alone backed up by coinbase, and do cooperation with binance labs.
i want to hear good news about this project more, maybe someone can provide something Smiley

This is one project no one should miss out on. I am holding their nft and looking forward to the next update regarding testnet and what other community engagement will be available for participation.
I don't think there have been any serious update from the team beside their recent "Stand With Crypto commemorative NFT". You can always join their discord to keep yourself up to date with their announcement.
sounds like really good but i wonder if this base will really release its coin, i heard that coinbase just gonna make some blockchain much like bsc unlike layer 2 where they usually release their own coin despite not being used for gas fee, i wonder if this coinbase base just giving solution for alternative of ethereum.

The good news is that Coinbase is looking into other markets as well.
Introducing Coinbase International Exchange
https://www.coinbase.com/blog/introducing-coinbase-international-exchange
"At Coinbase, we’re working hard to help update the financial system by building trusted products that expand the utility and adoption of crypto because we believe crypto and blockchain technology have the ability to increase economic freedom and opportunity around the world. Coinbase chose to become a public company in the US because we believe the US would best be served by embracing this fundamental innovation, but we’re also focused on international markets, many of which are moving forward with strategies to become “crypto hubs.”"

Something in this direction is not particularly heard in the crypto community. Therefore, I think at the first stage, few will join. The peculiarity of this direction is not entirely clear. I will study the information in more detail on the official resources.

#1.

Masa has been working on a project to build a token-based identity platform for cryptocurrency and blockchain. In order to do this, we need to integrate Masa Soulbound Identity (MSI) into our product. MSI is a blockchain-based identity platform that allows users to exchange information and create tokens in exchange for services such as trading, rewards, etc.

#2. Mainnet

The mainnet is a network of exchanges and exchanges that are used to exchange digital assets, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dash, and more. Mainnet is built on top of an open-source Blockchain (Bolshoy et al., 2014). This protocol is based on the Ethereum blockchain, which has a proof-of-stake (PoS) of 0.00001% (Zhao et al., 2014).

#3. Token Exchange

Token exchange is the process of exchanging a token (e.g. USD, ERC20, ETH, LTCO, etc.) to another party (e.g. a bank, exchange rate, etc.) using a public-key-based protocol known as

The idea of having a name for the wallet instead of a long address consisting of many numbers and letters is really nice.

But will the wallet be available to all networks? I mean, if I get a name for my wallet, will I be able to use it to send and receive tokens on ETH, BNB networks, or just on the Base blockchain?

I think it's nothing new. There were at least two projects that I remember having this feature. One of them was FIO Protocol created almost 2 years ago:

"No more sending crypto to the wrong address or chain. Map all of your public wallet addresses to your unique crypto handle, and use this crypto handle to send, receive, and request any type of crypto. It's as easy as that."
https://www.fioprotocol.io/

"FIO Protocol is blockchain agnostic, meaning that it is compatible with all blockchains. FIO Protocol supports all tokens."
