Scammers have annoyed me with these fake exchange platforms and flooded Telegram and Twitter with their spam messages. They are creating a platform that takes the same name as a popular exchange platform, its template, or a domain close to the original domain, so we must not deposit our funds and deal on these scam platforms, no matter what promotions or advantages they offer, we have thousands of reliable exchange platforms in the crypto arena that make us not think in dealing with other exchange platforms, I will now report this scam platform that impersonates the official BaseFEX.com platform through the Namecheap registrar website.

The website in question has been created only 130 days ago and I would never trust such a website.
It is a scam.

the URL is https://www.basefex[dot]global/
This is a scam, always use the legit URL, you can check Coingecko or Coinmarketcap for the correct URL of an exchange site if you do not know it.

This is BaseFEX legit URL: https://www.basefex.com/

Better to report it to a domain registrar: How to report the scammers to registrar

But if you can get in touch with the exchange customer care or on their social media handle, you can report to them to take legal against against those similar domains that scam users like that.

They are impersonating www(dot)basefex(dot)com and they are definitely scammers.
As already said, don't deposit any fund or you will lose your money.

Thanks, everybody for the help. They still haven't replied to me yet. Now I think they're scammers.

I can share more about my story later after I process my feelings.
What is their URL? We need to know that. Before sites that lists coins and exchanges like Coingecko and Coinmarketcap can list this exchange, it may be possible that they have headquarter and possible that they are traceable. What scammers use to do is that they find a domain name similar to a legit exchange domain name and use it to be scamming people, that is the reason I said you should let us know the correct URL for us to know if you are talking about the legit site or a fake one.

If you want to manage such scammers, tell them to deduct the 20% (in fact be very generous and tell them to deduct 50%) from the amount they are showing in your account since it's all money...right?

I am very sure they will just go mute  Cheesy

What is the URL of the exchange? Is it https://www.basefex.com/

If you are asked to pay more money, that are scammers trying to scam you the more, but I am surprised that the exchange is seen as a legit exchange but turning to scammers now.

My advice is that you should use a popular exchanges like Binance, Coinbase, Kucoin...

I followed up on the chats by asking them whether they can verify my identity or paying a smaller amount of deposit. And they did not respond anything
Any service asking you to make a deposit to be able to make a withdrawal is a scam.
With asking them to allow you to deposit smaller amount, you are actually trying to decrease the amount of the money they will steal from you. Whatever amount you deposit, you will lose all that.

I have about 53K in my BaseFEX account.
@BaseFEX
When I tried to transfer my money to my Gemini account, BaseFEX froze my account. They told me i have to put an extra 20% of my total portfolio into my account to unthaw my account. Or my account will remain freeze.

I followed up on the chats by asking them whether they can verify my identity or paying a smaller amount of deposit. And they did not respond anything
