BaseFEX account [email protected] was created on 2019-08-16 07:28:
No deposit nor trading records were found. And no history of any kind was found prior to that moment.

Sometime ago beginning (06/07/19) I attempted to withdraw BTC from BaseFEX to cold storage.
So far you have provided nothing associated with your registration, deposits, trading, or withdrawal prior to your signup on 2019-08-16 07:28 therefore I am afraid we find no way to help you.

If you did have deposited, traded and withdrew on BaseFEX before 2019-08-16 07:28, as you say you did, it won't be hard to find and please kindly provide:
  • BTC transactions ids of your deposits and withdrawals before 2019-08-16 07:28
  • Signup and other emails sent to you by BaseFEX before 2019-08-16 07:28
  • Any other BaseFEX-related notifications, maybe your withdrawal request?, before 2019-08-16 07:28

Technically anyone in the world can make this kind of accusation against any financial institution, insisting there was an account that may or may not ever exist and ask for compensation.
So again, please kindly provide something that is associated with your said trading history here, and we will look into it ASAP.

There was indeed a support request, which I recall was from an East European surname, like a month ago, that requested us to find an account of his friend whose account is assumedly lost and gave me that email address.
I looked into it, in our registrar, our backstage and our database, and there was nothing found. No sign-up record, no transaction record, no block record. Nothing.

I told the inquirer what I found and he insists there was an account and says we must have lost it, and he asked for compensation.

What happened::

Sometime ago beginning (06/07/19) I attempted to withdraw BTC from BaseFEX to cold storage. I believed the withdrawal was being processed as normal but BTC never arrived. I then lost access to my account ([email protected]) upon attempting to login again to check what was going on. My account didn't exist anymore apparently when I tried logging in with my email address and password.
I emailed BaseFEX support several times with no response finally to to be told that my account didn't exist. I then read on this forum that they had conducted so called thorough checks of their system and were unable to find my account. The did not provide me with any of this information I simply got a 1 sentence response.
Just today I received a login notification to my email address stating a login had occurred from an IP address in the US. Though I believe this is a VPN. I have logged back into my account today successfully (42 Days later) and found it completely empty, its almost as if a new account has been created as there is no withdrawal/deposit data or transaction history. Its very confusing. Unfortunately I did not make it a practice to record screenshots of account balances and regularly cleared my inbox of old emails so am unable to provide more information apart from support responses back from BaseFEX and additional proof of IP Logins. But BaseFEX are aware of my case as I have been attempting to resolve this for 6 weeks now.

I have sought outside help regarding legal measures to try and recover these funds but so far they have been unsuccessful.
