Interesting take on Bitcoin. Good premise in that video and a lot of useful information. Take a look at the youtube comments though. I agree with a lot of what she mentions in the video.

Beautiful, smart and passionate. She understands Bitcoin more than the vast majority of people . Especially the second part touches on Bitcoin on a deeper level. Very interesting video.
Not to be a cynic, but did she actually write it though? A lot of channels seem to have their actual content written by men but will get a 'pretty face' just to front it etc. Unfortunately men tend to only click on youtube videos when they’re presented by a woman, usually with her cleavage out on display.

I don't get how that makes me a cunt. I didn't say she didn't write it, but questioned it. Fair play to her there and my scepticism proved wrong on this instance, but you know as well I do what usually goes on on Youtube, not to mention I've seen a couple of tech/bitcoin blogs already exploiting this where they just have some hired woman bouncing around in a lot cut top, but I'm always happy to be proved wrong.

I disagree, what do you think sparked Bitcoin in the first place? I get her overall message but the problem is people who are like that aren't going to even bother watching her video
It's a bit like trying to get people who think gaming is harmful to actually try to play games, their opinions are something based on wilful ignorance.

Why do people think they know what is going on in Satoshi's mind, and assume bitcoin was his libertarian scheme to overthrow the fed? What if he was just a genius coder who launched an awesome payments system and got rich, staying anonymous to not get robbed.

the difference with Crypto is it has advantages that where not possible previously, everything has advantages and disadvantages but when something introduces new advantages that's when it becomes a game changer,
She's a bit too passionate about it which makes her sound a bit weird, If I weren't into bitcoin already, I'd think she's talking about some cult or sect.

I guess that's just a certain peoples' interpretation of it. Maybe he didn't have the idea to overthrow the fed (or any other banks), but just restore the balance or redistribute the power fairly amongst the people.
