There are many ways for us to buy and transfer bitcoin, the coinbase can be used in buying some bitcoins and you may also use that as your wallet that can transfer money to another wallet. There is also another wallet you can use, try to search on some local exchanges because for sure there are a lot of offers on that, be careful when buying bitcoins to strangers because there are many scammers in this crypto world, always double-check when he or she gave you a link for some purpose, check the reviews of the website or the file so you can assure yourself that it is legit.
If you are from the Philippines, you may use coins.ph as your wallet, that is so accomodating and good service.

Where to buy?

I think localbitcoins works for each country, so that could be a good start... https://localbitcoins.com/

And the wallet...

You can use an online wallet like blockchain.com https://login.blockchain.com/ or you can download a wallet in your PC like AtomicWallet.
yes localbitcoins is good but i recommend you to use cryptovoucher.io minimum buy is $20 but its easy to use and buy with your credit cards

i recommend you to dont use blockchain and other web walllets, i rcommend you to use electrum i use since 2013 and i dont have any problem till now, but dont forget to download from main website https://electrum.org/ because there is many phishing websites and electrum software....

if you have money to spend highly recommend you buy hardware wallets for more security

Ty for helping.
KYS no problem for me.
Coinbase doesnt have a service to send to another wallet.
Sell is same to send btc to my friend? (e.g.)

Coinbase does have a service to send bitcoin to another bitcoin wallet. Try checking out this site with a guide on what to do when ypu want to send bitcoin to the wallet address you want it to be sent. Just make sure it's a wallet for btc to avoid losing your coins because of it.

my suggestion is freewallet.
I am using it over a year. its good.
You can download on playstore if you are using android phone.

And as soon as you exchange more than a couple hundred bucks, freewallet will arbitrarily lock your account and make you jump trough loads and loads of hoops to unlock the money that was yours in the first place.

They'll ask scans of your id, they'll force you to contact them for a video chat, they'll force you to prove where your funds came from... Freewallet isn't a wallet, it's an exchange disguised as a wallet. I wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole.

I was sending few hundred dollar worth of coins in there, only send out when i needed it, maybe few buck..
since i heard your info, i began to scare and want to change wallet><

Since you are using your android phone to install freewallet then the electrum wallet also support on android devices. You can download electrum wallet on playstore or you can go to electrum website.

Where to buy btc to send at another wallet ?
ty

simple answer search for your local exchange .
Its better to tell us where your country is so we can give you suggestions and choices of the exchange you can use.
After buying create your own wallet by electrum or any wallet you want to use and transfer the btc you buy in exchange.

I think you mean KYC (Know Your Customer,) which means you have to send them identification documents.  Coinbase does indeed allow you to send crypto to outside addresses, I've done so many times.  You may be having trouble understanding their user interface, but they do have a good tech support team.  Reach out to them if you're having trouble.

If you are in the US, I can also recommend buying crypto using Binance.US.  If you're not in the US you can use Binance.com.

Looking for alternatives is better for you. Never use the custodial wallet as your main wallet. Stick with something like Electrum, Ledger, Trezor etc or run your own node if you want to. It will take some time to adjust how you buy or sell bitcoin but it's definitely worth it.

Thank for the advice, sir.
I will find new alternatives soon and send out all my crypto on freewallet.

You must search for a far better wallet it's never good to stay to at least one Always attempt to keep some alternatives at work, then you'll be ready to overcome the matter very easily. I feel Coinbase is best for alternative wallets there's no need for KYC here and far more reliable.

Most exahnges are against you buying or selling cryptocurrency on another's behalf so is tread with caution if you do that with higher amounts... There might not be much of a way for them to track it though.

Coinbase will allow you to withdraw to a bitcoin address or to send to them via email if they have a coinbase account.

What do you mean?

Coinbase has a wallet you can send and receive from. As long as you're sending to a correct BTC address, the Bitcoin you send from Coinbase will arrive into the wallet whether it's an Electrum, Bread, Bitfinex or paper wallet.

Selling isn't the same as sending BTC to your friend. Selling is only exchanging funds - when you sell BTC, you receive another currency in exchange in your own wallet.

This is a bit of a weird question and depends on what you want? If you're fine with kys a lot of people use coinbase. It might be better to try to search for something in your area though to see if there's a good local exchange. The US, europe and india (just naming a few places) will all have different options availabe and speeds of transfer.
