When I wrote that I didn't realize the little system notifications that pop up in the bottom right hand column were the ads. I was trying to turn them off as notifications. So, from them I've earned about 2 bat in four days.

I hope so too, but I guess that is just a marketing strategy just to pull crowd to the use of the application, but I really doubt if their rewarding system is sustainable because that is really not what they need to push their value up in the real market.

They need to make sales of their product and what they should be pushing more is the sales, sales is what would get people into holding the coin, and not the rewarding system. Anyone anywhere can install the browser freely and get it’s reward, but this reward we are talking about will come from somewhere, so if they don’t have push for the sales of the product to be able to push the reward system, it may not be feasible, so I will advise you don’t keep your hopes there.

Chrome browser is still the most popular browser for now, but I think Brave browser has already overtaken Firefox and internet explorer, the user database keeps growing per minute, although I have never tried it but probably because of this hype I am seeing everywhere about the browser, I will give it a try.

The browser I really wish could come up with their own cryptocurrency is chrome, not only chrome, but Google entirely, they have too many projects that have already been established that could boost crypto market if joined. I hope they one day, Google will really consider the use of cryptocurrency too, just like Facebook is planning on adopting it.

I came in to the BAT party late too.

BAT is currently ranked top 20something in CMC. I see coins above it with no purpose in life, no use. BAT has a strong use case and software being produced daily.

Take cardano for instance. They haven't been able to move their software forward to phase 2, it's been delayed almost 2 years.

BAT on the other hand, via Brendan Eich and his team, are ticking off to-do items daily. Their software releases are timely and constant. I think it's a great project TBH.

Just my opinion though, perform your own due diligence and only invest what you can afford to lose.

You cant earn, but you can spend. Thats a good way to "sponsor" some of your favourized channels.

I see most the feedback about BAT is really positive. This is a good sign for this crypto!

I thought I'd see a bit more criticism about it, but overall the community seems enthusiastic about Brave and BAT.

Their rewards program is not running everywhere yet, only a few countries. When the final version goes out it'll be global. I think a lot of people will buy BAT then to publish ads.

Also another question that was asked: there is no withdrawal now because they're giving away BAT. They don't want people to get free BAT and sell it. They want it to be used for tipping and ad testing. So for now you can't withdraw, but it will allow withdrawals in the final version.

Well I confess I'm more excited about BAT after reading this thread.

It’s really clear compare to other answer so my question is coins earned now if I am holding till final version release is that worth ?? Will they allow me to withdraw in final version , otherwise they say that’s test coin.

I have heard it's a good browser that blocks out ads. This could be a winning browser with the amount of bloatware killing the user experience. I'm constantly clicking out of news sites because of the excessive ads. I may try out the browser once it's developed a bit more.

I have Brave browser installed on my computer. I really like it when watching Youtube videos because it won't show advertisements. There is no way to earn BAT using this browser. It has a reward program every month but the BAT is not withdrawable. We can contribute to favorite websites by watching them. Brave will equally divide the BAT and spend it to different websites based on our attention.

Well, it price corrected.
It's important to not jump into fomo, you should never buy anything that is pumping that high.
Just wait a couple days or a week and it will price correct and drop.
It's a matter of economics.

As far as the future of BAT goes, it relies entirely on the BRAVE browser.
I've checked it out, and I personally didn't like it all.
But, then again, just about everyone I know that has tried it absolutely love it.
To each their own I guess.

But, the most important thing that I've seen, is that even though most really like it, they don't seem to use it as their main browser.
I think there is hype now, but it will be interesting to see if people actually switch to using it.

I just downloaded the brave browser last month and till now I'm using it as my official web browser to browse on the internet. It's smooth with the embedded ad blocker. I do also earn some BAT from using this app.

Brave has a new user incentive program by paying ($ 5 according to BAT) for those who download and install Brave browser monthly. I have experienced and really satisfied with it.

Great way how to finally reward also users of the browser, not only publishers. We had many solutions before Brave, but all of them were unsuccessful, maybe because they weren´t created on the blockchain and people did not trust them.

The browser is ok, it's basically chrome but a little bit better.
But their ad viewing program is bs for now. I've installed nightly, dev and beta versions, none of them works even though they should (settings are good, windows version is updated, I'm in the right region...).
I think version 1 goes out in two days, we'll see if they've fixed all the bugs.

I'm one of the users of Brave browser, but what I've been waiting for that they announced that will be implemented this year is their get paid to view advertisers this is one feature that will add more popularity in their browser, the ptc niche is huge if they finally implement it, they are going to dominate another niche or industry which is the PTC.

I didn't follow the project much but BAT always has hype from the very beginning. I am amazed by the performance the BAT team provided so far. One of the coolest thing about this project is the community that providing support to this great project. Also, whales love to play with the price as well. We often see projects with working product can't do well when it comes to their token price. (AirSwap)

But BAT still has some room to grow it's like down 50% ATH though through the bear market It did well unlike other coins down 80-99% in value. I think BAT can be $2B project during the bull market.

I installed BAT twice or three times because the first time I installed,,, I thought I could earn BAT but it was not possible so I left it. Second time was when I wondered if something was wrong with my Firefox to load something. Third time was to just keep it on my computer like I do now. So, you could say that this is typical for me and almost any user who wants to try things and in fact we do not even use it yet. We might install it a few times, so do not count that as 10 million users.

I tried out Brave browser couple of weeks ago and got away with great impressions. Integrated add blocker, lightning fast, slick IU etc. Its only a bummer that the option to earn BAT with watching adds is still not available (its working only in dev mode I heard). When this option goes live as well, I will probably switch my default browser to Brave.

You will like brave browser if you hate ads, and love your privacy, brave browser is just like a modified chrome browser like chromium, another thing is you can earn BAT will browsing the internet, if i remember correctly it is only available for the developer browser for now i guess, you can set how much ads you wanna see and you will receive BAT which you can keep or donate it to your favorite website.

I see most the feedback about BAT is really positive. This is a good sign for this crypto!

I thought I'd see a bit more criticism about it, but overall the community seems enthusiastic about Brave and BAT.

Their rewards program is not running everywhere yet, only a few countries. When the final version goes out it'll be global. I think a lot of people will buy BAT then to publish ads.

Also another question that was asked: there is no withdrawal now because they're giving away BAT. They don't want people to get free BAT and sell it. They want it to be used for tipping and ad testing. So for now you can't withdraw, but it will allow withdrawals in the final version.

Well I confess I'm more excited about BAT after reading this thread.

This reminds me of when BAT was fluctuating in price. It was very good for trading. Well, it has not yet ended. The most opportunity I have seen about this coin is that, it is good for long term investment. Not only because of its use case,but also because of a working team.

I don't think it is active yet. The reward program, that is. I also installed it in under Windows, and I like the browser, but when I click on the reward program, it's not in function. At least that is what I get. Someone with more info could explain if this is really so, and when this program is expected to get going.
