Of course, the movement of those Bitcoin can be traced. What can not be traced (that is for now) is who are the specific people who are moving those coins or the people responsible for the Wannacry ransomware...that can be the most important thing to find out.
If they never use those coins for nothing personal that can be linked to them, then they are fine. They buy a bunch of stuff on the dark markets. Besides, there is plenty of ways to exchange your bitcoins privately. They could always meet up with someone and exchange the bitcoins in person or use a decentralized exchange. But if they can't wait and and want to get rich quick, then they will have some trouble exchanging such a big amount at once, but still quite possible to go unnoticed.
