My tip to you OP, is to offer the ability to use an escrow throughout the setup and audit process.

Yes, as a dev you can easily change the source code a bit albeit to make it not a "copy" anymore, but the hell does someone from the internet know about that? I myself as a dev don't even know the limits of what a "copy" can be described as really and at what point does it become your "original". Heck, even without considering that, just identifying that the script you use for that casino is a modification of theirs is enough to land you in a lawsuit.
