The market cap this time is even more misleading. Many bitcoin private keys are lost forever, and so are the BCC, and I think most people didn't bothered to claim their BCC, so the real supply is lower.

a fork means when you copy the code from another project and make a couple of changes. that is the programming deffinition of the term. and that is exactly what Litecoin and DOgecoin and all the others did.

there is nothing wrong with that though. as long as they are improving the code.

besides you can see Charlie lee's history always talking about changes to bitcoin like faster blocks and stuff like that. and nobody accepted his changes, so one day he forked bitcoin and made the changes he like to it and released lite-bit-coin.

Litecoin (and Doge and Ethereum and Monero) are being dismissed because there is a genuine chance that in the midst of the BTC/BCH shenannigans, people will switch to one of them to actually move money and do business.

We're already seeing this in action - people in the scrypt mining pools electing to get paid in litecoin or another alt, to avoid fees. People who earn Steem switching it directly to Litecoin which they can change into fiat, thereby by-passing bitcoin altogether. It's happening. The number of exchanges allowing alts to be traded for fiat directly is also mushrooming.

It just like another crap or shitcoin if the difficulty of the bitcoin cash will be dropped again. Bitcoin cash just a business purpose and that will never be considered as real crypto. Is that the bitcoin cash can be considered as the roger ver's coin? Just another crap has made by the greedy person.

LTC etc is neither a fork or a clone.. but more like a "port" or even better.. a "mod"
It is like the EOS ICO ....ported from Bitshares.

Let me clarify and no i am by no means an expert on block chain stuff either
A clone is taking say Bitcoin and replicating it but changing the icon or name etc.
A FORK is where you are continuing on with the block chain that ALREADY EXISTS on a coin and making it a split in the chain so it "forks" off into another branch than before.
A fork can be on the existing coin or a new coin can be forked off and created such as BCC.

Litecoin was never a fork.. neither was Doge or the others you mentioned guy.
Their block chains were created new with their coin.
In other words they have their very own genesis block where as a fork would share the same one.
Further more LTC is not a clone either nor is it even possible to be a "fork"
Because they use a very different hashing algo.. SCRYPT vs SHA
And scrypt was created for a specific intention.. to even the playing field with mining as ASICS etc were rolling out for BTC.
It succeeded in making mining fairer for a time.
And that is the algo DOGE COIN and countless others STOLE !
Lumping in Doge etc with LTC is simply ridiculous.
The doge scam dev simply copied and pasted the scrypt code into his new shit coin with a new icon and meme for the wallet.
The litecoin dev CREATED a new hashing algo.

Everybody in crypto loves to insult Litecoin but it deserves its props.
It managed to get more real world adoption than all other shitcoins combined ever in crypto history.
It was created for a real reason.. not just to slap a meme icon gif / jpeg on it and pump it and dump it.
It was created to solve a mining problem with honest and sincere intentions.
If anything Litecoin is simply an "alternative" to Bitcoin.

Difficulties with the extraction of Bitcoin Cash blocks were predictable. His current rate of $ 607 is clearly overestimated artificially and was supported by a small group of miners and some interested persons. Now his rate is falling. What will the business?

BCH chain is now longer than BTC chain!

BCH messed with the difficulty, that turned BCH into a joke. If the difficulty drops again, another 1000 blocks will be mined in a day. How did they not anticipate this?

I think they've done everyone a favour and exposed a vulnerability in bitcoin. Bitcoin was fine when it was the only sha-256 coin being mined apart from peercoin, and the miners had no choice of what to mine.

Now they have a choice, you can see what happens - which is incidently the same thing that happens in the alt world for scrypt coins, where miners switch what they mine almost daily, only people somehow blanked that experience out, instead of learning from it. Megacoin and Mooncoin used to have this problem and they solved it using a Gravity Well readjustment where the difficulty was adjusted after every block.

Sadly the bitcoin and bitcoincash developers tend not to take any notice of the truly innovative solutions found in the alt space. Perhaps now they will. Because if it's this easy to disrupt bitcoin, any govt or dark actor can do it.

Block Size increased to 8MB, yeah right. More like 800MB.. 

Since from the beginning of BCC, I consider it already as another altcoins .No one can get the bitcoin throne, now that it has many improvement and continue to improve. It will continue to improve to meet the needs and demand of it as a virtual currency IMHO.

what do you expect from this coin. everything is fabricated. the price is being pumped by whales. difficulty reduced to attract miners and still failed to be in par with bitcoin.

i think Bitcoin Cash will down to $500 and get back to $1000 

this joke is much better than most shitcoins though, so the positions is good enough.
and also it is a fork of bitcoin. many altcoins are fork of bitcoin. coins like litecoin, dogecoin, bitcore, and lots of others have been forked from bitcoin.


this is what i am afraid of too.
it is not just bitcoin cash chain that they are harming they have caused a lot of problems with bitcoin mining too. and as long as it is alive and as long as its price gets pumped there is the same risk all over again.

It's going to carry on like this for another few months.

Meanwhile bitcoin is now finding blocks every 7 minutes! At some point the difficulties will equalise and things will settle down.

 

I like this joke , I don't think it should has the third rank on coinmarketcap.com from it's born. I also don't think BCC is a fork of BTC, it's just an altcoin.
I am willing to see what choices will  BCC miners make.

right now bitcoin cash has officially turned into a big joke!

first there were rarely 1 block every 2 or 3 hours, then things became better and normal 10 min on average was the time between blocks.

then they reduced the difficulty to bring in more miners and ended up with 1000 blocks in 1 day.

now miners have left it one more time and there is nearly no block being mined any more.



the other funny thing is that the 1 block after 6 hours (the last block in the above pic0 is only 748 kB big.
you'd think after 6 hours it would be fuller !!!!
