It sounds like you've just loaded either the wrong app on your nano s or you've selected the wrong Blockchain when opening the wallet.

also, with the BTG did you set the BTG split option? or did you just select a chain?

I select BTG in the Nano Ledger, and the first time I split up the BTG coming from the Legacy chain. And it worked, and I could see my BTG. Then I did not check for a while, and I went back to check and now my BTG is gone, even though I chose Legacy chain.

What happened? You got your B Cash back?

Just had my BTG disappear from my Nano Ledger, I think there must be something wrong, and its still there, but not sure how to go about checking it.

no unfortunately i did not create a new account. Maybe the only thing that i can hope for is that ledger support responds to my tickets. But i allready asked them 4-5 times to analyse my logs for more than a week now.

I'm thinking of buying a trezor now, i mean if i don't know what happened to my ledger i don't trust it anymore

OK, it was just quick idea that pop in my mind.
But I want to say that opening multiple tickets about same issue is not a good approach. Usually not make things solved faster (actually it does the exact opposite). Undestand your frustration, but if I were you I would try another channel (twitter, facebook ... with reference to your ticket)

Nevertheless I hope you get your coins back.

No I've never had similar issue.
But ff the coins are still sitting on the address you sent them to I think there is no need to panic (it will be just some minor misunderstanding).

Maybe you created another account and sent those coins there?  (I think restoration will not restore the additional accounts ... you have to add it manually)

A few weeks ago i send some BCH from the exchange to my Ledger nano s. I checked if it showed up in the wallet ( as i allways do ) which it did.

One week later i checked my balance and the coins + transaction history is gone! just vanished out of my ledger. Nothing worked to find back the coins. I tried to reset the device, used my 24-word seed for this and it did'nt work. I transported my Xpub to a electrum wallet and it did not show up there and also nothing in the list of the other chains BTC legacy / segwit or main BCH.

The coins are still in the address: 1Mcv9WgCYU9BMr62BWrqedd9hQLRQAG7iK

So my question is there still something that i can do? Did somebody have the same problems?

i exported the logs out of my ledger and send them to ledger support but i did that only after i reset it with the 24-word seed. I hope the logs are not deleted because i only see the date of november 20 in them.
