also - right now is a good time to buy them - they are on sale marked down from $39 to $24

I think we are going to keep selling them for $24 at least until the end of the year.  Seems like a pretty good price point, not too steep, and I think it might even encourage people to get 2 and gift one or share.

Thanks for the support MoparMiningLLC Smiley

do u have an offer for buying bunch???

Hi Jojomocoin.   Sorry for the late reply.   I have checked on your request, and the answer is that unfortunately we do not want to give discounts for bulk orders.

The reasoning is that we are not looking so much to sell a bunch of coins just to sell coins, rather spread them around ourselves, control the purchase experience for the customer, and try and directly engage with the customer. We also want to control the selling prices and keep it as consistent and low on all platforms.  We also only make 500 coins per year, and we are going to run out of the 2021-A anyways before the end of the year as it is.

I hope that answer isn't disappointing. I really do appreciate your query, and hope you pick up a BCmint.com Physical Bitcoin for yourself Smiley

What will be the differences between the 2022 and 2021 coins?

We just started on the design for the 2022-A coins, and really we are not quite there yet; but the objective will be to increase the weight of the coin using heavier metals, and make some improvements in the actual gold plating. The hologram will get some minor improvements and revisions as well.

The goal with the BCmint in not to really make any drastic shifts in our coins, rather small incremental improvements from year to year, series over series; and to slowly and continually refine the quality of this one specialized and clear product. The key is to make all the changes and improvements subtly over time.

When we have the final plans for the 2022-A Physical Bitcoin, I would be very happy to post an update.

If I understood this correctly, the 2021-A coins are exactly identical with the 2020-A series, and the only changes made are in the hologram?

For orders placed outside of the US (ie from Europe), will still get dispatched from the states?

Hi tweetious.

Thank you for your past support Smiley

The 2021-A metal coins are extremely similar with the 2020-A and you would not be able to see a discernible difference.

The main changes from 2020-A to 2021-A are in the hologram, how it behaves (it now honeycombs and destroys better), and in the hologram printing and the key fonts and size.  Yes the differences are in the hologram.

We are currently sending EU shipments from the USA.  Our fulfillment partner does have Ireland based center, but currently all the 2020-A inventory and all of the first half of 2021-A inventory is already in the PA, USA center.  So many we will look to use EU/Ireland center for 2022-A coins in December.

First, thanks to Bitcointalk Collectibles for the support. You guys have been awesome!!

2020-A series - $24

The last shipment of 2020-A coins are available. The final minted run is 321 coins instead of the planned 500. We stopped making them to focus on the 2021-A coins. They are available now on the website and drop shipped from USA so it's fast. Tracker updated.

2021-A series - $24

The first shipment of 2021-A coins are available. The planned minted run is 500. We will not make any more than 500. 2021-A coins are available now on the website and drop shipped from USA.

Changes on the 2021-A coins are

The small diagonal "BC" is removed.
2021 is embedded in the microprint detail.
The printed public key is a larger and clearer font.
    Improved tamperproof hologram honeycombs

We are starting to work on the 2022-A BCmint Physical Bitcoins, which will be available in December.

Thanks again to this forum for the support. It's been really fun Smiley
