Trezor doesn't have an official Android App if I am not mistaken.

They used to have an Android app called "Trezor Manager" which could have been only used to change the device settings and update the firmware. It is no longer available in the Google Play, probably because it will be replaced by Trezor Suite soon, but the apk installation file can still be downloaded from Trezor website.

This will make users hesitant to use mobile phone for their wallet especially android
Although, after web wallet, mobile wallet is the next most vulnerable to attacks, but that does not mean using mobile wallet is not still safe if you can properly maintain online privacy and safety. There are many legit mobile wallets like electrum, but what we just need is to make sure of never using google for anything, visiting the official site of the wallet for download, you can also be able to even verify the mobile wallet on the official wallet sites.

But the fact remains, we should not leave high amount of bitcoin or other crypto on hot wallets.

This will make users hesitant to use mobile phone for their wallet especially android, with software flooding the internet, if users won't double-check what they are downloading, it might steal millions of dollars, from users, I don't know why google won't do something about it, they can check if it's really legit,
I guess we just have to check ourselves, thank you for this information.

Trezor doesn't have an official Android App if I am not mistaken. Everything is handled through the browser and the WebUSB API. Users should never look for wallets and apps on their own by searching for them in Google Play Store. Only follow the official links on the official website of the service/manufacturer. Any by having a look at Trezor's website, you would see there are no links to Android wallets on Play Store.

Immediately I saw your post, I went to android play store on my phone and I found it to be true.

The scammers had good review for it but scam with over 1000 downloads now. People are just tired of Google play store as many fake apps are listed there every month which some people would have been scammed for such google neglegence means of listing apps on their app store.
