Watch out for the clone sites, it looks extraordinarily the same as the real one, only misspelled word in the domain link or just a special character in the middle which will be unnoticed most of the time. So better don't log in to new sites when you are in a hurry. Always bookmark the frequently used sites to avoid entering into fake and scam sites.

Some higher rank members sometimes fall victim by  those clone websites out there because they behalves like Newbies. Many time I have come across clone websites and was able to identified them with time, so many of us are always in a hurry to complete some jobs online without proper verification. Anything called IoT am not always joking with it because that's my virtual life.

It is good to be updated with phishing site or scam sites rather than waiting for someone else to post here on the forum that there is a new scam site or phishing sites that we need to avoid and blocked it so it won't show in search results. Newbies doesn't know much yet so better be ready.

You don't even need to be updated with the phishing sites or scam sites in general. Not to mention that it's going to be very tedious in the first place, because scam sites are just going to increase in number from here. I mean, I've never been scammed since I was like 12; but did I keep up to date of all the new scam sites? No! What you need to know is to simply make sure that the site you're opening is the legitimate website, and that's pretty much it. There are a so many ways of making sure that a certain URL is official that there's really no reason to get scammed unless you're VERY careless.

There are some things that we don't know yet and we may/might have access it in the past and we just don't know yet. Earlier, I revisited a site that there is no scam accusation or anything. I have open some link that the site have provided and it is blocked by metamask and I have review the details why it is block. I did search the domain that the metamask blocked and I found out that there is a thread here in bitcointalk that the site is a scam.

The point I created this thread is that we shouldn't forget to check a site that has a list of scam sites just like this one https://etherscamdb.info/scams to be updated of scams that are reported already and soon will be reported.
