Don't save passwords and login details in any of your devices.
Create an unique password for each website and service your sign up to. And be prudent on where you use your personal email address to sign up.
Remember, people nowadays want to earn money at all costs, but they aren't willing to work to do so. Therefore, the occurence of scams become more frequent and through more clever concepts than previously. The industry of scams is in constant development and renewal. Every hints on how to prevent being scammed are worthy to be shared.

I think it's also due to the new comers in the market. Many are still innocent and unaware of the phishing attacks that can be done either in the crypto world and even in the real world. And they're the real target of these attackers because they have no idea of what's coming and with the no to little knowledge of these newbies, they're being taken advantage of it. Those that have became a victim of these phishing attacks, I hope that they will recover and didn't became discouraged that there's also these scammers in the market because even in real world, they're existing.
There are people that are also old in the business and they still find it very hard to coupe with them self and they are still falling victim for all this things, but people that are always preyed upon the most is the newbies those that the target for the scammers always so that they will be able to convince them easily then they start looting them a lot of things have been happening lately and a lot of people are losing there assets to scammers we all know how painful it is to lose your money.
And that is why before they start anything we are always encouraging everyone to go for the knowledge first so that they don't fall victim for all this niggas and all we can do is to get them to learn before starting to invest and when you have know you have more confidence in your self because you know exactly what you are doing so there is no to be scared when there is enough knowledge.
And anyone that have falling victim of the phishing attacks it's hard that you will get your money back, one few cases it happens that you get hacked and you get your money back, the best thing is to know things to do to be able to avoid all this.
Those information that are freely available online, either through reliable sources or personal experiences, remain useless if the concerns do not take time to read or internalize. It has always been awareness is the key. If they find no interest on that, or laziness attacks, surely these phishing incidents will continue to increase.

So the only way to stay safe is to outsmart them. It’s not surprising that the number of victims keeps growing since many people are too lazy to do proper research. Maybe they find it too technical or feel like it’s too much for their brains to handle.But at this point, it seems like learning about these things is a must, especially if you have holdings or a significant amount of Bitcoin in your wallet.

Right now, they have moved from telegram to WhatsApp. In a month, one can receive about two to three of the unsolicited job offers from numbers you keep asking yourself how to got your WhatsApp number. I have come to accept that this is the new normal and there will all be those who have chosen to be scammers as a life-long career. It is knowledge and contentment that can save anyone from not becoming their next victim. In addition to this, share their trick with your friends and close family member because if don't fall for it because you are already informed, they may if they are not informed.yeah, I saw your thread, so I did more research and found the overall numbers, which show just how serious the phishing problem has become. It’s everywhere, so we need to be extra cautious. It would also be great if people could share news about phishing scams from different platforms. nowadays scammers are very smart to trick internet users, they can create phishing applications/links as if they are trusted just to trick users and get their sensitive information. and therefore as a crypto holder to be aware of the applications we install or the links we want to go to. do not carelessly install applications to devices that contain our crypto assets, or click on links sent to our email or social media, because now phishing is very massive on the internet and one mistake can result in the loss of all the assets we have.
This is point as we have technology developing scammers are also going smarter so they are bringing new and unique ways of having things for increasing their profit from their work.But we also need to be keep things update and having enough information about things which are creating problems to us recently I read few stories how they were scammed and lost their huge amounts as they were not well aware about this which give them better information about these phishing links and unwanted apps.

It’s really surprising. Instead of phishing incidents decreasing since we’ve learned from experience and there’s so much information available online to prevent it, instead they’ve actually increased.
It is quite surprising in total value of scams in phishing type in 2024 and 2023, but it's somewhat explainable as in a bull market, scammers are more active than in a bear market, and in bull market there are more newbies who are more vulnerable to be scammed.Quote

The scammers saw easy ways to make people believe them fast. They started to offer job for people which is a fake job. After they tell their victim that they will give them job, they will send them a link to download what is required for the job but which is a malware link or a link that the victim can download that can lead to lose of coins.

We would never follow the links that are from untrustworthy sources.
Especially from the strangers! One of the easiest paths for such people, imo.
Thanks for reporting it, and I totally agree - when there is a potential and hype around anything, people flock to it. In our space - I do have an opinion that it happens during the bull runs (it is obvious why).
And that's when the ears of the people should be on the watch..
